Robot Combat in other Video Games
« on: November 25, 2010, 12:44:13 AM »
Im interested to hear if anyone knows of Robot Combat within other games? (so not a robot combat game itself)

I only know of 1 from memory, there is a mission in Sly 2: Band of Thieves which Murray joins the "R/C Combat Club" to gain inside info and you have to fight another R/C robot tank

anyone know of other games that feature robot fighting?

The Urbz: Sims In The City for the PS2 had robot fighting. In the Foundry level, you get your rep high enough to gain access a secret nightclub place, and they have a big lexan and steel cage, and two robots rise up out of the floor and fight each other in a cutscene. I think one of them had a sawblade, and the other had spikes. Then you did a stupid dance if you won.

In Thrillville: Off the Rails you can drive R/C cars to hit each other in a mini battle.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Do demolition derbies count?  There's Need for Madness (Flash Game) where you can win by destroying all the other cars (and some of the tracks are unnecessarily long to encourage this behavior)

The Nightfall Incident? It was kickass! Also, the music from it recently appeared in some car ad in Argentina.

THAT IS A TOTALLY AWESOME GAME. Once you get the Final level, just go round the track backwards. It's such a lot of fun.

Brute force, bro. I usually fix the SUV when the health is at 50%.
