I'm planning on buying the XBLA version, looks pretty cool, especially that you can play with your friends, and it doesn't lag, and you can blow them up, and take over the world, and enslave them all to produce everything for you, muahahaha. King of the world.
Make sure you have a HDTV and HDMI cable or splitscreen will not work.
Are you sure? I don't see why it wouldn't.

Edit:
HDMI or Component. So as long as you're not living in a cave 5 million years ago, you should be covered. The TV doesn't matter, IIRC, and almost all TVs support Component cables.

I have an enchanting room full of bookshelves (Apart from 2 missing for the door), as you do to get a lvl 50 enchantment, but I can't get anything over 14! How can I fix this?

Don't tell him about the torches anyone.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Indeed they do. I fixed.

My home is pretty nice now, if a little small and unorganised.

So, what mods do you guys use? For me:

Timber
TooManyItems (For deleting cobblestone)
More Ores
Obsidian Tools
Spawner GUI
Little Blocks Mod

I would use some shaders as well, but they need Optifine, which conflicts with Modloader, which is needed for Timber. And I need my Timber mod.

Also, new book crafting recipe (In snapshot and will be in 1.3) is BS, but villager trading and Jungle Temples look epic.

I don't use single player mods except Optifine, which I load through Magic Launcher. I'm more into Bukkit mods for SMP. I really can't do without Essentials anymore and I enjoy using DeathTPPlus for it's death signs (signs that mark who died where, and how). Features I like from Essentials include:

  • Creepers can't destroy blocks, but can hurt people. It's so handy it's amazing - it doesn't make creepers trivial things, but they can't ruin your buildings anymore.
  • A command for getting home quick, good after a long play session
  • A command for getting around to landmarks or mines
  • A command for putting yourself out when on fire. I originally had this off but it's saved my server members allot of stress
  • A command for warping back to your last location before dying or warping away

There's more, too. I also - obviously - have anti-grief plugins and a permissions plugin. Lastly, I had to install a world size limiter because someone was wandering off to infinity and beyond, more then doubling the server's file size. This is probably my least popular mod but I need it to keep the server within my host's limits.
I play games, I've reviewed games, and now I make games. Games are fun things, aren't they?

Hey just an FYI: we're opening up MaMinecraft to the public, so stop by and take a look around! Talk to myself (Budaniel in game) Zsturgess or Esssemm about getting promoted and be able to build. Rules are here for your perusal. See you online!!

With the help of some friends I have almost finished the lighthouse which begs the question.
