That happens all the time. Not the 'current track/song thing, but the situation. Nothing really special there.

Also, I typed in a seed which lands you in a mushroom biome and it had a huge cave system. Fun times exploring...well, mostly gying, but yeah. Problem was that the mushroom biome had no trees...so I travelled far and wide, using 6-block high towers at regular intervals to help find my way back. I went through a plain biome (no trees there), an ocean biome (nor there), and a desert biome (this game must hate me). I was lucky to find an NPC village to find wood, because there were no other nearby biomes with trees. So, a bit of advice - find wood before going into a mushroom biome.

Iron bars might be better for surrounding the arena as opposed to glass panels.

It's just the fact that I have never actually had a seed that had a cave system that immense, usually it is full of coal and goes to a dead end, or full of nothing and leads to a dead end, rather than a load of water, lava, some gold, iron, coal, lapiz, redstone, and obsidian. I probably wouldn't've mentioned it if it wasn't humongous and right at the start, nor would I have mentioned it if I had found something like it before. In fact, every cave system I have found, other than this one, has been bland and uninteresting with a small amount of iron and a moderate amount of coal.
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

The pit goes down, one block...
I might build the hangar, but a 4x4 piston arrangement took enough time already.

New version. Its HUGE!

It is 48x32 blocks and, according to Wikipedia, is how long the actual arena was. Now for hazzards!

Right, so I tried to install a mod. I deleted the META-INF folder in the minecraft.jar and installed ModLoader. I then ran Minecraft like the instructions said to. After that I copied the mod (Ugocraft) into the minecraft.jar and then ran the game. None of the items were there so I tried to force an update to get a clean minecraft.jar so that I could try again.

When I tried to force an update, minecraft got stuck at about 20%. It lost connection and I tried again... and again... and again... I've tried deleting the bin folder in the .minecraft folder and I have even deleted the .minecraft folder. Any help? Or could someone upload their .minecraft folder?

You need to put it in the mod folder of the .minecraft file, it should work then, has to be in the .rar file, this is how I install my mods. Either this or you did not install something else that was needed.

I'm planning on buying the XBLA version, looks pretty cool, especially that you can play with your friends, and it doesn't lag, and you can blow them up, and take over the world, and enslave them all to produce everything for you, muahahaha. King of the world.

Hey, I've posted and updated the world map for AA Gaming Hub's Minecraft server. You can see it here.
I play games, I've reviewed games, and now I make games. Games are fun things, aren't they?

Make sure you have a HDTV and HDMI cable or splitscreen will not work.
