Obvious choice would be I Wanna Be The Guy

Branded games though... hmmm. Nothing actually bad comes to mind, so I'll say Ridge Racer DS, I think. The later stages require just about perfect laps to win, on very thin tracks with controls and collisions that aren't exactly designed for them.

In the last Duel race, the opposing car is so fast after the first lap he stops and waits for you to pass him.

And then he beats your ass again about 15 seconds later.

Still haven't beat it. Last race and last duel to complete. I've never seen anyone beat either.

Another one of mine.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on Hypermode difficulty, it took me hours to defeat just one boss, and the Space Pirates are annoying as heck.

I have yet to find a game i havnt finished but the hardest I've played is DOOM 3: ROE expansion pack on nightmare. Still trying:-D

Not really a game but a boss: Boost Guardian in Metroid Prime 2. If you've ever fought it on hard you will break something. But, if I have to pick a game... Ikaruga, for sure. Or Trackmania

Trackmania isnt that hard, exept some levels, specially some player made ones. Like on my favourite server, all tracks made by Skilla break every single law of logical order = VEEEERRRY confusing tracks!

For me the hardest game I have played (right after I Wanna Be The Guy) is.... I dunno! I guess Skyroads would be it, its a very old platform race game, I havent finished many of the tracks there.

What boss is that? Since i am currently stuck on Amorbis, i can't do any damage to it, even with walkthrough.

That boss is actually pretty hard on the normal difficulty... Theres no light crystals...

Spider guardian in that game SUCKS too..

Speaking of Trackmania, I can't setup, everytime I click on the setup thing it always say I should reinstall it because of the file maybe corrupt, well I did around 5 to 6 times.

Just shoot the crap out of it with light and or dark beams when it jumps until the armor plating comes off, and when it grabs the sphere in the middle shoot it in the face. Then go into morph ball, let it suck you in, and lay 3 bombs. It's not too hard when you know how.

Yours is Nations too? Try removing the installer too and re download. If that wont work, I have no idea whats going on.

Trackmania doesn't want to load, so I'll try to explain: it's the first row in the red cup, one of the tracks is an endurance with a ton of 45 degree banked sections, one has you jumping between two of those spiral statues and into the finish, one has a curve right out of the start heading into a couple S-bends and a quarter pipe. My descriptions suck, I know, but it's the best I can do without loading the game up.

C33: I only understood that endurance and the jumping in beetween the statues, but whats that third track you mentioned? Im going to work on them tomorrow, its going to take some time to edit the vids and stuff.

Also, Rails of war ^^ thats pretty awesome and tough one, but I think I have completed it (or was that just a demo version of it?)

There are a few hard missions, but the mission i'm on, "Learning to Fly" is hard because i can't fly worth crap.

Well, unfortunately for you, I dont have GTA SA for PC, so I cant make a vid for it. All I can tell you is: Keep trying and you will get it eventually.

F-Zero GX.  That was a beastly hard game.  I remember I beat all the story missions on Hard difficulty after several consecutive hours trying to finish that one where you just race down a long tunnel with all those doors and whatnot in your way, only to find out there was ANOTHER difficulty after that, which you need to do in order to unlock the arcade racers.  I never did beat all the missions on the hardest difficulty.

To make things a bit more varied...

Destruction Derby 2. Destruction derby in the Death Bowl arena, on Total Destruction mode.

Think of it like this:
In a race, or derby, there are 20 cars, including yours.
Every car is as durable as eachother.
The Death Bowl arena is compact, and one side of the arena has a massive sloped pit. Going in it is a scripted kill - not even Action Replay cheats for no damage will prevent retirement.

In Destruction Derby (actual derbies ingame, not general gameplay) Total Destruction mode, it's 19v1, and you're the one.

If you're not wasted from 19 cars turning to crash right into you one after the other while you can't do anything but take it, then you're most likely going into the pit.

It can take as little as 5 seconds, and only less if you drive into the pit yourself.

Those parts were so easy. The final part in Final Fortress took me at least 2 weeks to get past with Team Dark(infinite lazers FTW).

I'd probably have to say Mega Man 3. I still have trouble getting past the Doc Robots to this day. You see, the weaknesses aren't as blatant, and with generally less effective weapons to use than Mega Man 2 (I mean, all Shadow Blade was was a nerfed Metal-Blade), it all adds up. Even freaking Metal Man is hard there!
Oh, and don't even begin to mention those parachuting oven-glove things above the pits in Shadow Man's stage.

And on the Sonic Heroes topic, the main problem I had with it was the utterly (Utterly UTTERLY) dysfunctional Special Stages. I mean, I think I'd have an easier time going out in a storm and trying to dodge raindrops than clear one of those.
That, and the terrible level design and cheap deaths in general O'plenty.

I never tried a Sonic game, and I like challenges and special stages, so im going to torrent the PC version of Sonic Heroes and see if its really that hard. What could possibly go wrong? (Famous last words)

Well, it's probably a damn sight better than the God-awful PS2 version.
 
I'd rather eat out the rotten arsehole of a roadkilled skunk than play that again. (Virtual high-five to anyone who gets the reference)

No, the difficulty isn't hard, it's summoning up the will to play through two discs worth of PS2 game that is hard. I got to about 54% and couldn't keep up my will to keep playing.

I remember Sonic Heroes. I have it on PS2 from back in the day. I got stuck with everyone except Team... whatsitcalled... the girly lot. I think I did pretty well with Chaotix as well actually.

I thought getting the Chaos Emeralds was easy. Some of the game could be hard though. If it wasn't for Metal Sonic's appearance at the end I probably would have forgot all about the game by now.

Eh... As I previously stated, I never played a Sonic game before and now I can say that this one isnt the one you should start with. I got bored after I scored an E in the first level and kept dropping in the water in level 2, soo yea, not so good there then.

However Red, the Nerd didn't mention the "Drowning in Beer" part in the "Back to the Future" review where the statement came from. It was only added in the theme song.
 
But with the Sonic Heroes special stages, I did find myself swearing almost as much as he was...

Sonic Heroes, Sonic Heroes! Something, something, something i couldn't understand.
The Gamecube version was pretty good, but personally, I couldn't stand the PS2 version.
 
But I do like how they made Metal Sonic the main villain again. Some say it screwed up his character big-time, but I think as long as he returned to his original form (Which he did), I'm OK with it.
I think it also helped to shape a return for the Chrome copy, which I must say, I'm quite grateful for.

Mario kart Wii. Not the hardest, but still hard.

Some of you guys may not think so, but put it in my perspective.

coming first, go around the last corner off the race, then get hit by a blue shell, red shell, a green shell, smashed by someone using the bullet powerup, squashed by a really big dude then knocked of the track. Come last

Honeslty, the most violent game I have ever played. Allready after 10 minutes I feel like throwing the controller....

Honeslty, the most violent game I have ever played. Allready after 10 minutes I feel like throwing the controller....
Mario Kart Wii was hard for me at the beginning but now I'm very good... My Race rating is now 8200 in Wi-Fi

Resident Evil 3: this was game what i played like 8-10 years old piss in pants just joking it was scary and hard
Need for speed shift: well when you got tier 4 cars then its hard
Castlevania Simon's Quests:  this was when i was 4-6 when super nintendo was cool and no ps2 or ps1 was made..
Crash bandicoot: i don't know this was when ps1 was made i had this game and never get 100 % enywhere in there
Computer hardest game Half-life 2 or Crysis. this was when i,m 14 years old and still i am 14 years old those games is hard so i sold them.

It's well known that MKWii has a very potent slingshot AI.
Basically, it's tactics the game employs to keep an AI in a fighting position with the player. It can be unreasoned speed boosts, or more chance of what the computer needs, whatever, aslong as the AI keeps up or surpasses the player.

I don't know if the AI are faster, but it's definite that they get more items that attack the player when he's leading by a stretch. Red shell and blue shell.

In other words, you will get first place by a huge margin on the first three tracks in a cup, then in the last lap of the last track you will be raped by a blue shell, then 2-3 red or green shell, hit by a Starman, then a Bullet Bill which will throw you off a cliff, and then you will be lightninged, all in one fast combo. I have never played a game where the AI is so well calibrated to piss you off.


The AI are faster too. Recently an AI with booster seat was able to keep up with my Super Blooper, which has about 2x the top speed stat.

My antivirus pops up giving me a warning at the moment a virus file appears on my computer and it destroys the file automaticly. And I only go for trusted and highest rated torrents and always read comments and descriptions if there are any. So no viruses here.
You should have used Isohunt to look for TF2 and sort by seeders so that the one with most seeders is first and then take the highest rated one.

No, the kart is called super blooper. I was playing as Luigi, the AI was Drybones. I have better top speed and was already at full throttle. He should NOT have been faster.

Battletoads. Couldn't even beat level two.

Currently I'm playing through Dark Souls (the first) but the game isn't too hard... learning the system was a pain, though.

Super Hexagon.


I heard some of the music as I was looking for background noise for building bots.  I then played it from curiosity, and got my ass kicked.  It's fun, but this game is capable of giving headaches with the color changes, the trippy music going with it, and the fact you are a tiny triangle avoiding walls.

I'm 95% sure you fight "Tong Shau Ping" repeatedly over the course of the game. Killing him just sends in more enemies. He's not the final boss at 2:30 into the game.

True.. it actually takes 4 or 5 minutes..
After you beat him.. it is an endless loop! (Like this: Level 1- Boss - Level 1 - Boss- Level 1 - Boss.. and so on..) The coding is awful, so as the graphics!
