omg! the tube one i couldnt do it! i had exactly the same dwesign as you i just could get the bottom thing to hold. it kept falling through

Just need to get the wood rods as close to the wall as possible and slightly sloped (not perfectly horizontal). As a RA2 builder, it's not difficult.

You make a catapult my chainig atleast 3 wheels by their attachment points, you can use less or more wheels if you dont get the power you want. Then on the final wheel, you attach 1 or 2 wood poles like you have seen in these, I like te wood and water setup because it seems to grab and hold the balls better. you can also modify it by attaching a hook like thing in the end and make sure its attached well to the wheel too, it will give slight extra speed because the ball wont fly out of the hold as fast it would without it. Aslo, even the slightest lenght/angle difference on the parts have a huge impact on the results, so make sure you tune one setup long before you discard it.

Please note that it was the first time I used that glitch, I have seen it like a million times in other players desings. And its not exatly havok, since the game doesnt use Havok engiene, so its just a glitch.

Yes, yes, yes, it doesn't uses havok, i thought of this... But it seemed SO MUCH like a havok that i used the familiar term "havok", especially to insist on the fact that this game is close to RA2.

i know we are kinda sad. But anyway...

lets battle! ok game. i created a kinda wierd thing with the sandbox a battle thing. whichever bot goes out of the blue lines first loses. on their side. post a link to your bot beating the previous bot. then the next person has to delte the bot that got beat and try to beat the winner. ok lets see how this goes

Im not sure, but alteast it got beaten. I came up with just 1 solution, but that needed the box to be removed and that  messed up things badly as the orange and red balls sarted rolling into the arena.

There is a limit to wheels & poles on the level, if you didnt know.

It shouldnt be, as there is no perfect desing. Btw, you can remove that pole behind the walker, it was there to prevent the orange ball from dropping on my bot, I just forgot to remove it after I iproved the drive with the second extra wheel on top.(Yes v1 was just 3 wheels and it couldnt move after the ennemy bot was on the platform)

Edit: I just tried that idea I got on this bot I just faced, and it worked better than expected :evil:

I just removed the opposing bot and the stick behind my bot and I got 53 + you can place 1 piece when both bots and the stick are present, that means mine has 55, because the stick isnt a part of the bot.

Lets make that into a rule straight away too, so that other bots wont be totally overpowered. So no more than 55 pieces/bot

Cuda, my desing wasnt legal,that means that the other bot is still the champ. And besides, that your desing just let the enemy go past.

Edit: I just noticed that the enemy bot is 48 parts, not 38, that means I can get that walker into a working desing in a sec.

The origional idea for the evil desing was to have it unpowered. That would be just so mean: The enemy bot drives up the ramp onto the unpowered wheels and powers my bot to his own defeat :D
