Yugitom's Drunk DSL Showcase

I don't usually make bots anymore, with exceptions being Homicidal Intentions and Spin Doctor II for their respective tournaments, but when I do build, I'm usually drunk. All the bots in this showcase may not be built by me drunk but the majority will. Also, considering I barely build and I'm not an alcoholic, this showcase probably won't be updated often.


The reason this has a smartzone is because I did a rumble between this and the upcoming 3 other bots on YouTube for a laugh.


Don't know where the name came from. It may be because of the robot's chassis shape is like a King of the Hill shape.


This time, I have completely no clue where the name came from.


This guy is my favourite of the bunch. I don't know what MIOOP stands for.

Alright, so I have never really been serious when making bots and the process in making them wouldn't really have much thought or care into it. When making bots in the past, I would probably either be bored or drunk, leading to very lackluster desgins. 'La Magra' is the first, I would like to say, serious bot but I went for a VERY simple design just to start off with. In other words, this bot was made to test whether I can make an effective wedge, whether I could make a very fast but controllable bot and to test my skinning skills. I think I did fairly well with what I wanted to accomplish with this bot. One thing that bugs me about this bot is that the chassis goes above the tornado wedge and it doesn't look good. I know I can remedy this by rebuilding the bot with a slightly shorter chassis height but I don't think it is worth it for a bot that I am just starting out with. Also, I was going for an IRL look, is there anything that doesn't make this IRL? I will definitely start to try and make more IRL bots with different and more complex looks but, with what's going on in my life right now, I settled for a wedge/ram bot for now.

I don't see anything that could break the IRL convention in that bot. The skin is definitely awesome, for something so simple.

Thanks. Yeah, I really had to compensate with the skin for a lack of weapons and stuff.

Maybe move the front wheels forward, use vlads or tornados, and that wedge is slightly off center. Other than that, it is damn cool.
