Schweet. Try fiddling around with the drive and burst placement so you can have a smaller chassis. With that, you could probably add some protection or something.

TP-2C2 Pow Armor II Evolution -Small Face Spinner Evolution Type I Model-

The next logical evolution in the long-running series of TakatsukiYayoi's/Team IREM's POW Armor series of models is an excerise in minimizing space as much as possible. This newly developed model puts a much stronger emphasis on damage, noted by the new weapon/wedge breakers mounted just off to either side of the main weapon, as well as replacing the durable iron spikes with superior Glass Cannon-esque razor tips. This allows for the bot to score knockouts with improved ease. Alongside the revised weapons system, the original TWM3R Drive motors were traded in for the wider TWM3s, which allow the TP-2C2 to take a much wider stance than TP-2H or TP-2M, improving manuverability... and making this version of the POW Armor series one of the largest targets ever. FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!

Specifications
Power Source: 3 Ant Batteries
Drive: 2 TWM3 motors powering Slipperbottom GrannyGuards
Primary: 4x spinning razors on a DSL disk, powered by a Piglet
Secondary: 2x static razors on two seperate polycarbonate appendages, unpowered
Hit Range: 30-250
Maximum Hit: 300+

Main Points:
+ Tiny, tiny chassis.
+ Greater damage.
- Underpowered.
- As wedgy as a big-breasted girl.
- Massive target.
Competitive Tier: Low Tier

kewl. If you use Vlads then you can upgrade the razors on the sides to Irons.

The goal of TP-2C2 was to improve damage output.

Irons were originally considered, but get this: 300 DP.

Compared to the razor tips, which have 420 DP and weigh 3 kg less. They may be less durable, but most lightweights, rammer and poker types aside, aren't exactly too durable anyway.

Oh - and the Bydo are mine. Not yours. But that is a topic that is for another time.

O_O

You could still change to Vlads, but if you want to keep the razors, you could probably change the extenders to small/medium beater bars. Also, 3 ants isn't underpowered. You got it right. :D

Also, I miss your showcase. Nice to see you back. :D

Maybe to help the wedge, replace the skirt with a small wedge on 2 flipper segments; same weight for strangely more wedginess.

Challenge Record: 2 Wins - 2 Losses

OK. And you can have the Bydo Army back. I was just keeping the throne warm for your time away from GTM.

Kill 'em Cute

Initially engineered as a standard fare vertical hammer-based attacker, the narrow stance did this robot very few favors in exhibition matches. However, by redesigning the weapon systems to fire upwards rather than downwards (think FireStorm from Robot Wars but with spikes), damage output and stability ratings went through the roof. Interestingly, the razors, which are used for this firing mechanism, double both as weaponry and (rather fragile) frontal armor. While this novel design certainly gives it promise, the novelty is exactly just that and sadly as of a result, per TakatsukiYayoi fare it is simply incapable of going toe-to-toe with more contemporary lightweight combat robots.

Specifications
Power Source: 4 Ant Batteries
Drive: Two NPC-Fasts driving two Mini Wheels
Primary: Upwards swinging razor spike (x5) panel lifted by a single BSG-200
Secondary: Not lifting the razor spike panel
Maximum Hit: 300+
Armor: 1mm Titanium

Main Points
+ Razor spike panel saves weight by not using dedicated armor
+ Primary weapon doubles as a secondary when static
- Rather fragile, though
Competitive Index: Joke

Welcome Back! I would make the wedges smaller and strengthen the extenders holding the weapons.

I like your bot. I like how you just fit it all inside that LW chassis :P
"Competitive Index: Joke". Wait, what?

I think that compared to many contemporary lightweights, this bot uses gimmicks and damn trickery in order to be anywhere nearly as effective. Many pop-ups, including beetleweights,  I bet can easily out-wedge this bot. Times have advanced quite significantly, and I have not kept up with the latest in cutting edge (no pun intended) of pop-up engineering techniques. Also, while the offensive capabilities are extremely high for it's novel design and weight class, the defensive side has been severely compromised as per Takatsuki-Yayoi tradition. The wedges, for instance, are polycarbonate, whereas many more modern wedges generally use aluminum or even titanium should durability be a concern (which it isn't for me, apparently...). Also, the chassis is both large and structurally crappy - 1 mm titanium is sh** armor in any class beyond beetleweight.

Anyway, why do I see stock miniwheels on the motors? :O

I read somewhere that mini wheels x NPC-Fasts are better than Hypno Wheels x TWM3Rs. Again, novelty.

I have 300 posts? This is madness!!! <gets kicked down a bottomless pit>
