Didn't even know about Crash Test until I installed NAR AI today. I just tested Dragon against the bots, and it can get under HnM, FnF, and Eclipse. Only bot that is has problems getting under is Second Sentinel. It does pretty good against shell spinners too.

I have the same problem with my Trojan Horse, though i can get under Sentinel. But, he sucks against shell spinners.

Similarities FTW

Wha? I don't see a single similarity between those two posts. O_o

But try upgrading the armor when you shrink your chassis. ;)

Yes, it has flails, and the name and paint job is questionable. I don't care. I wanted to mix hammers and flails on this bot, since I haven't seen it done before (I have a good feeling it has). It has 16 razors, 4 25kg hammers, 2 NPC regular motors, and plastic 3mm(I think).

A bot I made about 5 or 6 months ago. I don't use much anymore. Showing the insides aren't worth it IMO, there's just a bunch of empty space. What I can say is that it has the best skirt hinge wedges I have ever made on any bot, and is capable of getting under HnM. 2 NPC fasts, two perm 132s, and two halfsheets for bottom protection. I don't remember what the armor was.

EDIT: I have no idea why I said that...

Why do I have the feeling your just copying what Naryar says?

Anyways, I like the look of that Flail Sheck Spinner. My only concern is whether the weapons ever get in the way of each other.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Not much. Either the hammers hit first, or the razors hit before the hammers.

The correct spelling would be "flails are teh ghey" so he is not copying

Plus they are, so he is right to say that.

Nice combination of hammers and flails.  What you want to do with that, though, is have the flails be longer than the hammers, so the fails hit first and once they fold in and the opponent gets close, the hammers act like a second line of offense so the other bot doesn't have all these juicy 400 HP flails to rip off.  That was kind of the idea behind the original Grog, the Vengeful.

So try mounting those hammers with the other attach point and see if that helps.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

4 wheel regular NPC drive, 6 ants, titanium 1.

NPC fast drive, 5 ants, plastic 5.

Both are very wedgy, but I don't like how Tambora attempts to do front flips at the beginning of matches. I'm going to find a way to prevent that from happening.

Both look very solid. :D

To solve the front-flipping part, you could try rearranging the flipper segments to have longer wedges, or just lower the value of its range (or radius, I forgot).

Titanium 1, works pretty well.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand the problem with Tambora is gone without any changes done to the bot.

Nice looking bots there.

First one:  Now where have I seen that before?... oh yeah:

Made that about 9 1/2 months ago.  It used almost the same setup as yours, but was unrealistic like most of my early bots.  It was eventually recycled into my CC3 entry, but whatever.

I'm thinking the plastic extender used to hold the weapon bar is there so the weapon doesn't pass through the wheels, am I right?

Second one:  I'm worried about having such weak armor on a fairly exposed chassis.  Maybe you can take away weight from the weapon to apply stronger armor and maybe strengthen the side stabilizers.  Having a tighter chassis could help, too.
