16 ants is probably more than you need, and these med plows are in the way.

It wasn't originally made with the plows, I just added them on to see the effect that they would have.
When a robot goes up it, it primarily gets stuck by the plows, so their wedges get ripped off instantly,
The wedges don't really get in the way after that
