The angled drive helps a lot with stability so it is very stable.
Infact i think i can get rid of teh wedges and maybe put some light DS teeth on...
EDIT: I can't put the teeth on
Probs rule of 7 again...

Whats the setup for the weapon?

And use DSL bars for the drive extenders instead of flipper segments. Those are asking to get ripped off.

Actually flipper segments have more armour for their weight.
anyway here's V3:

Now with more armour aswell  :gawe:
EDIT: Oh the setup is the ME in the chassis, one flipper segment and another then the motor+disk.
So 9kg of extenders altogether for the disk

As a cumulative amount. A decent hit to one will destroy the extender as a whole.

Well it seems to last most/all of the the match when i tested it in Nar AI so i won't really worry about them for now.

DP: Any ideas for a new bot?
Some bots i refuse to make well: Popup, Hammer/Axe and Complex spinners (SnS not included)
For some reason i just can't make these bots even good enough to beat dsl HW...

TP: I think i'll post one more bot before i go on holiday...
Not really the best for fighting but i doubt i'll use it much
5 Ants, It seems impossible to shrink the chassis anymore and it has a lot of external armour.
More like X - Y V3 really:

Oh and it has Tite 3

That's an interesting design, but I reckon it looks too long and narrow. Plus the Perm 132 UL motors aren't legal DSL Components, they're in NAR AI. (Curse you, Frenchman...) But if you swap them for Perm 132 EL's, I reckon you could have a little bit of weight left to play with, perhaps to upgrade your extender work a little.

You mean Perm 80 UL.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Don't see the point of having 2 separate stabilizers, upgrade the weapon motors, drive's too fast, could be invertible, carbons have no point, why DSL bars and why did you slant your npc's?

Carbon's provide something to hit rather than a very critical part of the robot. A bot may only get one shot to get a hit in there, and if it knocks off the carbons, then that bot lives to fight.

And I think it looks really cool. Good job ty4er.

Slanting the NPCs gives you a better turning radius.

Don't see the point of having 2 separate stabilizers because MW's are harder to create based on 1 design you are going for compared to a HW, upgrade the weapon motors pigs are fine, drive's too fast no it doesn't, could be invertible what are you a Middleweight miracle worker?, carbons have no point watch my BBEANS 6 battle against Bisector and tell me they have no point, why DSL bars cause they are awesome and why did you slant your npc's better turning radius
Next time Fotepx, showcase your bots so we can ridicule you if you think you are so good at giving out advice.
