Well from what i've seen so far of what im against i doubt that would work with the bots being quite big and it has to be realistic.
Anyway i have made a few changes so i will post pics when possible.
The VS does more damage and i have 4 piglets now and a proper wedge and some protection around the back.
Angling the FS would work but i suspect it would do less damage and might not always work so i think i'll leave it for now  ;)

I has pics  :gawe:

And a new bot  :gawe:

Yes, i used piglets for drive (is it drive or weapons?).
'Tis my first go at a crawler so don't be too harsh  :approve:
It wasn't meant to but it also works like stinger
It swings over and works like an axe  (whatever it's called)

Well it's a first for me so don't expect it to be good...
Seems to do well against all DSL MW...

Standard DSL AI is outdated nowadays, so pretty much irrelevant.
Anyway, FS seems unrealistic from that angle atleast (then again, if it is realistic, it'll suck because the VS part won't hit anything)
The crawler has faaaar too much wasted weight on the back, the setup consumes too much weight overall, look at other bots to figure out how to lighten it (you have loads of different options lighter than THAT!)

It is realistic and i can't get the VS to hit anything without it being unrealistic.
The VS just helps with doing damage when flipped and moving/self-righting when flipped.

Yea i'm not too great with extender work but i shall go have a look!
Oh and should i try testing it against DSL hw?

Well that's A LOT of wasted weight then, either fixxx it so it can hit (but is still realistic ofcourse) or just make it a FS or a VS

Well do what I said and have a look at other setups, probably the best way to learn.
And you should just get a more recent AI pack instead.

Use DSL bars instead of steel extenders. And move the VS closer, but also see if you can add some teeth to the beater bars. It'll be a struggle to make it realistic though.

BW: Drive = overkill, needs some weaponry

HW: Drive = overkill, 6WD tops, needs bottom protection, wheel protectors aren't THAT necessary, but if you wanna keep 'em, be my guest.

BW's fine. Actually, that's a really nice BW. It should probably need a top skirt as well to better immobilize opponents.

But yeah, the rammer's too skinny to be good.

You could make the rammer wider by using the trov chasis glitch for the rammer if you really wanted to keep that drive setup. But if you want to go overkill drive try 4 E teks with technos. It's lighter and i think it might be faster. In most cases 4wd NPCF with technos or 6wd NPCF with hypnos are more than enough.

I did a wedged 8wd HW poker once. It didn't work, other than for OOTA'ing wedges.
Really you need better weapons and a wider setup.

An that's triple!
Better than GK since 2009.
