I'm not sure about Usurper either, but Cicada keeps getting better and better!

Aforementioned cleanup done. I think it looks much better now. Certainly cleaner at least

TY. I'm certainly happier with it. Battery life is the major issue with it now, although this is primarily meant for online PvP tournaments so I should be able to deal with it if I'm smart with when I time my flips.

Usurper looks amazing, I kinda preferred it with the polycarb for some reason

I might be able to get the polycarb back while still keeping the cleaner look. I'll look into it tomorrow.

Speed Demon-style Anti HS vert. 4WD TWMRs on this one though (may try to find weight to swap 2 of them to NPC regs at least though) and a wider, drum-ish disc. Extenderbot too rather than a chassisbot like SD. Main drawback is it lacks a srimech, but looks wise I'm reasonably happy.

Wasn't gonna post this here initially because it's really just an iterative improvement to one of my existing bots, and it's pretty similar to the previous bot I posted too, but what the hey. This is Speed Demon VI. Really pleased with how optimised this thing is now. A marginal drive increase over SD V (2NPC fasts + 2 Astros, which actually make a surprising amount of difference), increased chassis armour, a more compact chassis+internals, and fully enclosed wheels are the main changes from the previous version. Features from SDV like the perm 132 powered disc with 4 small typhoons, the steel spinner killer wedge + spinner supports, and the Vsmall VDMA srimech have also been retained. Weight is dead on 800KG now, and I highly doubt I'll ever be able to improve any other element of the bot without making significant sacrifices in other areas.

The astros are a good addition. I had the same experience with the The series when I upgraded them

Yeah they really do contribute a surprising amount of extra speed over just 2 NPC fasts. Still not exactly a rocket but hopefully lives up to its name a little bit more than before

Wanted to build a kinda bucket scoop lifter thing. This is the result. Was supposed to be 4WD but I had to drop it because it was hugely overweight/ Tried to go for a unique chassis shape. I think I did okay but it came out a bit messy. Bucket is powered by a large VDMA while drive is 2 TWMRs. Bucket is all titanium while the front is steel and everything else is Alu. No srimech and can't self right so it's screwed if it gets flipped.

It looks like it has cat ears. Is this intentional?

Nothing about this bot was intentional TBH. Looking at it now with the benefit of actually having slept it looks like sh**

Built something I'm about a million times happier with than the previous bot. 2WD heavily armoured front hinge that's about 50KG underweight but which I'm very happy with nonetheless. 2WD NPCfasts for drive and 2 Vsmall VDMAs for the flipper.
