or have it just poking out by like 1 or 2 pixels, that would look fine and be effective. I guess skirts aren't inherently bad, but using them like it's DSL-S leads to your bot looking like ass.

Please make that skirt wedge red so it looks like a little tongue, going :P at all the other bots.
This. Do it.

Here's another bot. This one is a Cruiserweight successor to my Annihilation Nation entry Subterfuge. Since it's the successor to Subterfuge I figured I should give it a somewhat related name, so this is Insurrection

Changes from Subterfuge include:

  • Perm 132 weapon motor instead of perm 80
  • Full-size Minion disc instead of a mini one
  • Steel front wedge and Titanium sides rather than Aluminium front and Polycarb sides
  • New larger chassis to accommodate larger components
  • Angled 'spinner killer' pieces on the front wedge

Works pretty damn well. May enter it in a tournament at some point if anything requiring Cruiserweights pops up. Weight of the bot is 596.7KG and the armour is Pl5. Pics below:

Exterior:

Interior:

Would look better with the chassis a bit shorter but the weapon motor already pokes out of the top of the bot ever so slightly. All in all pretty happy though, though any feedback you have to improve it is more than welcome.

I don't like the way the chassis goes above the wedges and panels. I do see it'll be difficult to work around however but if you could find a solution that would be good.

Updated Insurrection as I also didn't like the fact that the chassis was so much higher than the panels. Here is the result. Had to shrink the wheels and switch the side panels from Titanium to Aluminium in order to accommodate the slight redesign and fit in the CW weight limit. Succeeded though and I think it looks a lot better. Pics below:

I think you should BFE the chassis height a lil lower to make it flush w/ the panels.

This, to be honest. You only need to put the height at 0.499999, though, seeing as the extenders seem to be 50cm high.

I'm not sure I really want to go any lower with the chassis. The disc motor is already sticking out the top of the bot slightly.

That's fine, you can add some protection for it. I still would recommend lowering the chassis,

I think that might just be the angle of the screenshot. It's level when I look at it in game. BFEed it to 0.49999 and the extenders are 50CM.

Here's a new one. Vertical bar spinner. CW 579.5KG. Ti5 armour

Bar is all steel extenders and beaters, with a pair of steel wedges which are intended to get under bots and flip them up. Works reasonably well but is somewhat unstable. Wedge is all titanium. I've got a bit of weight to play with so any advice on what to do with it is welcome.

The bar looks cool and I like the concept of the bot. The rest doesn't do it for me tho

Here's a real, cluster**** of a bot. My first real attempt at a full extenderbot with a 1x1 chassis. apart from the awkward clipping of the angled plates I'm reasonably happy with it. 597KG and the vast majority of the armour plates are Steel or Titanium. 2X TWMR2 Drives for drive, so it's nice and nippy. and 2X VDMA small pistons for the flipper, which give it a lot of power. Battery life is a slight issue as it has 2X battlepacks and 2X ant batteries (all I could fit in) but it can just about get through a fight.

on the previous VS : i'll agree with thy. the bar is really nice, but the rest of the bot is somewhat off from bar design. must be the color scheme.

extenderbot... well the front seems a little fragile. i'd make a chassis extension "nose" under the flipper if I were you.

Another Extenderbot. Ever wondered what would happen if Firestorm and Wild Thing had a baby? Well here is what the result may look like. MW 398.3KG Front wedge is all Ti. Rest is all aluminium.Chassis armour is Pl3 if that matters at all. Twin TWMR Drives for drive, with nice grippy tyres so it's reasonably nippy. 1 Storm front hinge burst for the flipper. Seems to be more than enough for MWs.
