Here's a superheavyweight rammer/lifter thing. 6WD with 4 slimbodies and 2 TWMR2s. Front and back are all steel, top is Ti, the rest is Alu. Flipper is powered by 2 medium VDMAs and the srimech is powered by a short.

Made some changes as a result of the thundering response that this recieved. Reprofiled the front end a bit to deflect spinners better with some additional steel sections. Also did some work on the top "horn" bits, and also swapped the srimech burst to a medium as a small didn't have enough oomph to reliably self right an SHW

Thanks for the feedback my man :heart_smiley:

I'm pretty happy with how it's come out myself. Might have to try and replicate this design a bit in a lower weightclass where I can get some more use out of it.

This is probably gonna get buried to sh** with all the discussion about 2.3 going on ATM but hey ho. Here's an extremely underweight (-720KG) HW flipper thing. Dual NPC fast drive and 2 small VDMAs for the flipper. Armour is Ti for the tip of the flipper, Steel for the side triangle pieces and Alu everywhere else. May try to drop it to a CW at some point but for now I'm fairly happy with it looks wise.

I'm a sucker for flippers with angled armor pieces  :heart_smiley:

Sexy internals as well, I'm loving this whole build! Happy 100th post by the way,  :dumb)

Thanks for the lovely feedback guys  :heart_smiley:

The flipper is surprisingly alright. It's not gonna be roofing stuff by any means but it has no trouble fliping other heavyweights at all.

I've also done a CW version with a front hinged flipper instead of a rear hinge. Had a tinker with getting a rear hinge config into the CW limit but it didn't work out. This looks slightly less nice but I still think it looks pretty good and it's safely in the CW limit which I'm happy about. Front wedge is now steel, but the side triangles have been dropped down to Alu to make weight. Also switched to NPC regulars but the 200KG decrease in weight means it's basically the same speed wise as the HW version.

Thanks man. Pretty happy I managed to get it into the CW limit. Hopefully I'll be able to enter it into some tournaments in the future

New bot. Wanted to make another one of those giant hubmotor drum/flywheel things, and also wanted to make it as compact as possible. This is the result. Front is a bit messy so I might try to clean it up but other than that I'm fairly happy. Drive is 4 TWMRs and weapon motor is a 4 mag, Steel front, alu everywhere else.

Made some changes to hopefully clean up the front a bit, and also added some wedgelets to help feed stuff into the drum

Thanks. Pretty happy with how the sides + wheelguard area came out myself too. I still think the front could use some work though. Been playing around in my head with how to make it look cleaner.

The march of the iterative improvements to Sabre continues. You guys are probably bored to death of this bot by now but I don't care  :gunz:

Had been playing around with the prospect of making Sabre slightly wider in order to fit 2 bursts instead of 1 in for a while now, and I finally decided to take the plunge. I'd been really worried that it would lose the sleek aesthetic that is the reason I love it so much, but with the 20cm width increase I think it's retained the sleek look while also gaining some competitiveness. Weapon motor has gone from 1 storm front hinge to 2 VDMA front hinges, which do a pretty good job power wise. They've also allowed me to make the bottom section of the flipper steel instead of Alu without losing a huge amount of power, which should hopefully prevent a repeat of what happened in OWO with the flipper coming off way too easily.
