But just one piece of advice, don't mix the Stock Game and DSL. Those motors are stock.

The black ones. Not the small ones. Though Piglets aren't good drive motors anyway.

Post by: RedSawn on August 23, 2009, 02:51:46 PM: We're glad you put "(Not)" at the end of your name. Possible burn or not aside, your bots need some work.

First bot:There's not many weapons for a heavyweight, or maybe even a Middleweight too. it's 200kg underweight (Or 180kg overweight, if you wish to make a Middleweight out of this. It's possible.)

Z-teks are stock components. There are better motors in actual DSL, use those. The high ground clearance will kill that bot if the lack of offensive/defensive power doesn't. It's a big target with not much chassis (or wheel) protection.

Second bot: Wildfire batteries aren't even DSL OR stock components. (As far as I remember) Much better motor for Heavyweight drive, but use the E-tek Drive edition. Much better for well, driving.

The weapon is crap for a Heavyweight. you might expect it on a Beetleweight (175kg bot) but with weaker motors.

The batteries aren't enough for even the bot that is there right now, let alone what it could become as an competent HW.

1.Don"t listen to life ra2
2.You have about 30 kg left, use it for more weapons or batteries
3.Put a half at the bottom of the bot (to be safe from popups)
4.Great bot over all. It would do great if it was aied.

Edited. He was actually right that time. You COULD shave an extra kilo with that blue control board, no questions ask-able. Unless the chassis is so tiny.

Other than that, I hope them drive motors are NPC-Fasts!

Post by: JoeBlo on August 24, 2009, 05:25:08 AM: yeah given the space I agree with LRA2 a blue control board to shave off the kg, titanium half sheet on the base and maybe change the extenders to DSL bars with the hammers on the end for a bit of extra destruction

you could even possibly build off the half sheet on the base to make some armour for your wheels if you wanted to get a bit more advanced
