Title: Lilly's Bedroom Robotics: DSL
Post by: Lilleh__ on October 21, 2019, 10:49:09 AM
Kinda in a rush rn, so I won't go into much detail about the bots rn, but I can later if anyone wants to know more.  Can also make proper splashes if wanted.

 Deep Blood: vertical bar spinner

Some of these are really messy in execution - Legendary Idol in particular stands out to me as needing a lot of tidying up on the supports - but you've got some interesting ideas here, and you're building in bulk, which is a good way to practice and hone your skills and style. Just keep building and refining your designs, and over time you'll naturally learn what looks good and what doesn't, what performs well and what doesn't. Keep at it!

While having a hard time AIing Ice Pick, I wondered what a crusher using a Beta would be like.  This led to the creation of Your Lover.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Improvements I can see being made are increasing the amount of battery power, fixing the srimech to clip through the floor less often, changing the wedgelets to non-damaging and maybe tidying the armour up in some places.

That arm looks way too thin vertically.  Give it some sort of arc and depth and it might look alright.
As said before, your extenderwork needs some improvement, although I can't really think of advice to help with that.

P.S.  If you're looking to AI a crusher, the littlemetalfriend.py inside the other.py is probably our best bet as of now.  However, it stops working any time it breaks a component.

Tried cleaning things up w/ Your Lover, both aesthetically and functionally.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Still lacking battery power, had to ditch the srimech to not look OTT boxy.

[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Then this happened.  Now ik not to box rush spinners w/ this bot bc it doesn't react well to taking hits.

I built a hammer saw w/ a beta and a perm.  One of them will need to be go in order to make the bot legal for IRL.

Here's some bots I've built so far this year.

I decided to play around w/ cb2 (the only cb2 parts I ended up using being motors) and created Night Fiend.  I initially intended for it to look like some mutant insect monster, but it kinda just ended up being W I D 3 B O I w/ a saw blade and an overall wtf appearance.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

And I've also built (either from scratch, completing after starting last year or upgrading bots that I intended to enter into MM3 but never AI'd and submitted) some bots that are legal for tournaments.  These are all complete except for skinning some parts.

Last year, I tried making a LW drum w/ sledgehammers, and did a bad job.  Tried to make a better one this year, failed, so just made a wedge for a LW, still same family as the hammer drums tho, No Hammers All Beans.  Slimbodies for drive so its faster than the hammer drums I built.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

These two you can see the original completed versions in the OP, they are the hammer clusterbot Slem and Slam.  What I've done is move the side supports for the dustpans so that they're no longer a disadvantage for them in wedge battles, and put armour plates in front of the wheels so its harder for opponents to get caught on them and make the bot spin when firing the hammer.  They have the drive power to flip a MW over by ramming them into a wall.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

And last of all, a SHW horizontal spinner that I started months ago, but only now have I got it to completion (except skinned armour and wheels) as I have plans to enter it into a tournament, Tohru.  The weapon is her strongest point being highly destructive, but her low ground clearance is a weakness as it makes it vulnerable to getting high-centred.  She could be the bad girl of the SHW division, but we'll have to wait and see how she performs in tournaments before being certain.

I'm not sure about the mixture of beaters and Typhoon teeth on the same disc, or the thinness of the wedges on Night Fiend. I like the idea behind Slam and Slem (and also the Re:Zero reference), but I think they'd look nicer if the dustpans were wider, and extended all the way to the edge of the wheelguards. Dunno whether you'd be able to find the weight to be able to do that without making them more fragile, though.

I think what I'll do is give them a run out in a tournament, then see what I can do w/ the width of the dustpans.

I've made the custom components and chassis skins available to download, so anyone who wanted to use any of them on a bot can, whether it be a bot for private use or for tournaments.

Been awhile since I last updated my showcase, so here's what I've done since then.

Changes to existing bots
I have used what ppl have said about Tohru to improve how she looks and get the version that I have submitted for a tournament.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

No Hammers All Beans has had its armour skinned (the beater has since been removed)
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Ahead of its first main series fight in OW4, I made some changes to Deep Blood.  You can watch its fight against Heartbreaker in ep 8 now.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

New bots
You may have seen EWoT beat the crap out of a front-hinged flipper bot called Pitstop in the highlight part of ep 7 of OW4.  A few weeks ago I built a sequel to Pitstop, although I plan to upgrade the original and still enter it into tournaments.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I'm hosting a tournament which has a sumo side event, so I built Fang to be the boss in that event.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Sliced Bread is a CW w/ side-sweeping saw blades, a thing I haven't seen anyone do in IRL before.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

This is Navigation.  Its a rooster in robot form.

Quick update.

Heatwave has been completely rebuilt to have a stronger chassis, be less likely to get stuck on walls and its weapon be more powerful.  It also has a lower centre of gravity.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I've also rebuilt Night Fiend in response refinements that I made to the build rules of my tournament based of feedback received on discord, which led to Nightmare eteks being outright banned, and I initially built it for exhibitions in said tournament.  It is now an overhead spinner that is completely legal for other ppl's tournaments.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I tried building a vert that's abit closer to the meta than Deep Blood and Legendary Idol, so I built Liontamer.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

My newest build is a LW modular bot called Thistle.  It has two configs; a hammer and a front-hinged flipper.  I can show an image of how compact it is internally if wanted.

Another update.

After it threw two fights in OW4 due to its sh**ty AI, I've removed from Deep Blood the wedgelets that made it invertible, making the weapon, which is now a tribar, hit the floor as the bot bounces back the right way up.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Also upgraded after I saw its performance in a tournament is Ice Pick, which now has hinged wedgelets to help it get under opponents, but I feel they may be abit too long.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Going 0-4 in OW4 due to having a Tornado wedge and unable to get under opponents, I've given Pitstop a proper wedge.  Also redone the weapon to be on medium wide R/P pistons rather than storm front-hinges.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

New bots now.  First, Röd Vin Bultande, an eggbeater on an arm so it can go over the top of the bots and be used on opponents both at the front and rear of the bot, similar to Whiplash and Saw Loser.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

My newest bot is Circuit Breaker, an overhead saw blade w/ a hinged dustpan which is supposed to be a hybrid between regular dustpans and the wedgelet dustpans which have been seen on some bots in OW4.  Its as wide as it is bc I originally put the arm on a Beta servo but changed it to an Overkill to free up the weight for other stuff.

Heatwave has been upgraded yet again, this time the wheels have been moved to inside the chassis and the internals reworked to save weight.  I've put the weight saved on less internal extenderwork and no external wheelguards into making the bot more durable as a whole.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I've also built some more new bots.  LED Sandwich is a bot that might only exist just to be an AW.  Might require some upgrading if I decide to enter it into tournaments.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

The first bot I built in DSL was Outrage, now I've built an IRL version, outrage_irl.  This pic isn't fully up to date, as the saw blades are now the other side of the wheels and the weapon supports have been fixed.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I've had this joke bot as an idea for some time, but I finally built it: Zoomstone.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I also did a mini-tournament to showcase my HWs that I've AId fighting and get a feel of what hosting is like ahead of extreme build rules.

Its been nearly 2mths since I last updated this showcase, bc I've been focusing on doing my tournament, now I'm working on doing the AI for my RR3 entries, then when that's done I'll try to get the second half of my coloured hammers pack out.

On the subject of RR3 entries, I've done quite abit of work on my CW entry, Ice Pick, in the last few days.  I've shortened its wedgelets, added a counterweight to the weapon, cleaned up the body and replaced the Typhoons on the axe head w/ axe components.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I've also reworked my HW entry, Heatwave.  I have BFEd its chassis to be exactly 40cm tall, changed the wheels to smaller ones and made its weapon look like claws.  Also a new skin inspired by Firestorm.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Pitstop has received a rebuild, as seen in Nabi cup 2, its much smaller now and the panelwork is much better than it was.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

On the subject of Pitstop, its front-hinged variant, Turbo, has had its wedgelets replaced by a wedge edge on a skirt hinge as I felt the wedge being at a 22.5 degree angle was too small an angle for the wedge edge on the main wedge to work properly.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Now onto new builds, I've built a sequel to Dust Blower, now a CW, as I felt I could do a dustpan flipper much better than the original.  Not very interesting to look at, so that's smth to work on.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Falcon Tank is a vert that instead of having a full wedge, just has wedgelets sticking out of a steel shield in front of a ti 10 chassis.  I've also BFEd the chassis to exactly 40cm tall to fit the shield.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I built a config bot to enter into counter pick, and what I built is Hip Pop Party, its configs are an undercutter and a dustpan.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

No Hammers All Beans got a sequel, electric beangaloo, which will be my LW entry into RR3.  Its overall a much sleeker design than the original, 4wd on astroflights rather than 2wd on slimbodies, meaning it doesn't have to be an ugly chunky box, the beans skin is now only on the top panel rather than all over the bot, the wedge and wedgelets are now ti and hinged, w/ the wedge having corners now, the wedgelets are also further apart and don't stick out as far, the bot doesn't look like a dork.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Last bot in this update, Wall Smasher 2k20, a sequel to a bot I never entered into a tournament.  Accidental Shunt clone here, I should try to spice up the design.  Very powerful weapon tho.

increasing the resolution on the plow skins will make them look a lot better. falcon tank and wall smasher look pretty good but falcon tank could use more than one color and wall smasher could use a more consistent color scheme

Gonna try to get monthly updates on the showcase out from now on, so here's this month's.

Earlier in the showcase, I posted an overhead saw blade called Circuit Breaker.  I've since done two complete rebuilds, the latest screenshot I have being the one here.  It is my entry into OW5 new blood and tbh I have no ideas for using the extra weight the crash patch gave me except more counterweights on the arm.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Thistle has received an upgrade for RR3, the wedgelets are now hinged and both configs have the same wedge.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

On the subject of RR3, this is my planned SHW entry, No Hammers No Beans.  I did originally plan on it being called All Hammers No Beans and having spinning hammers like my RR2 LW, but it looked terrible so I made it what it is now.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Another SHW I've built is Cola Can, a tuna can ring spinner.  The extra weight the crash patch has given me will likely go into more armour as I have no other ideas.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Speaking of the crash patch, due to it making motors and batteries lighter, I decided to mess around w/ it and ended up creating a sh**ty BW overhead called Baby Flame, and less than 24hrs later I had to rebuild it to get it under 175kg again due to an update that made copals and astros heavier.  The top armour is kinda messy but there isn't rly a way to fix that w/ the weight I have left.

Sry if the bots in this month's update feel like they didn't have as much care put into them as some of the bots in last month's, I was kinda rushing at some points to get them ready to be showcased before taking a (almost) 6 week break from RA2.

First up, Infestation, a SHW clusterbot based off ants.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

The only other bot in this month's update is Schweinehund, a CW IL style flipper that is in pathfinder 2's IRL division.  After seeing its first battle in that, I've decided I'll be switching it to 2wd so its power lasts longer and so I have the weight to make some other changes.  No idea why those black lines are on the skinned panels, they're not in the texture bmp files.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Any ideas for improvements to these bots would be appreciated.

I ended up returning from my break a couple of weeks early after being inspired to do so by Thistle's performance in RR3, so here's this month's update.

Updated Thistle to crash patch weight w/ a much stronger wedge, smaller wheels w/ some protection and the hammer config turned into an axe.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

It took me a few weeks to decide whether to update Pitstop to crash patch weight or build a sequel, I ended up building a sequel: Pitstop S.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I built a shell spinner based off of buizel for Cringey's pokemon tournament, prolly gonna change the colours of the shell and teeth to look better.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I have completely rebuilt Ice Pick and its now up to crash patch weight.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

And the same for Deep Blood.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Current WIPs include updates to Schweinehund to make its power last 3mins and a sequel to Slem & Slam.

Time for this month's update.

Made some changes to Schweinehund to hopefully make its battery last to the end of a fight.  I regret making it an extenderbot.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I built Slem & Slam 2, much wider dustpans to fight HWs more effectively and hammers on bursts for more reliable self-righting, although the chassis is weak.  Also managed to get them to both be MWs to fit the rules that some tournaments are running.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I've redone Circuit Breaker's arm so it can fit a belted TWMR and made its supports wider.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

I also converted Pitstop S to a front-hinge as some hosts are no longer allowing top-hinges to use pneumatics, and this bot won a championship last week.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Currently WIP: NHAB 2 being bought up to the crash patch weight limit and a sequel to Heatwave.

This month's update is a couple of days late bc I was on holiday, but now I'm back home, here it is.

I built a MW turret flamer themed around a tank, although its chassis is paper thin, E-17.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Took a few attempts to get it to not sh** itself w/ the game's broken physics, but Heatwave 2 is finally complete.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

NHAB 2 is now more heavily armoured and no longer has a beans texture for the top armour panel.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

This is the first BW I've entered into a tournament, Scrap Baby.

Not got any new bots to showcase this month, just a couple which have had some changes made ahead of OW5 and other tournaments, plus a new consistent splash template.

After it was rejected from AT2 for lack of stability, I've replaced Deep Blood's tribar w/ a disc and made its armour stronger w/ the huge amount of weight freed up by the change.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Changed the flipper on Pitstop from 1 storm front-hinge to 2 VDMAs, visually nothing's changed, just a (hopefully) more powerful weapon.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Currently WIP: changes to NHNB and two new bots.

OW5 signups are open, so gonna show off my lineup for it here.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Pitstop and Deep Blood are exactly as I showcased them yesterday in my monthly update.  Circuit Breaker (while not shown in the splash) has had the casters on the end of its arm replaced w/ a tail like the one on Ice Pick.  This is due to the bot being 2kg overweight, despite it being the version I built it up to 794kg post-crash patch, as seen in september's monthly update.  The tail also makes it jump much less when swinging its arm overhead.  Hopefully they will perform better than my bots last series, especially Pitstop.

Final update of the year, got three new bots to showcase.

First up, a bot that's intentionally sh** (and prolly the worst bot I've built), Beijing Streets, bot for Kelimpel's XTRA tournament where I just took the piss.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Next up, the first of all the extenderbots I've built that has a more complex shape to it, No Hammers No Beans 2.  The 2 NPC fasts as its drive is a typo, it actually has 4.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

To finish things off, my first OBJ bot, Topaz, which has already won a tournament.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Planned builds for new year: Heatwave 3, Thistle 2, Deeper Blood, Schweinehund 2
I also plan on making some changes to Circuit Breaker and Slem & Slam in the new year.

Only got one bot to showcase this month, Thistle 2.  Abit messy in areas but overall not too bad considering what I was trying to put into 250kg.

Time for the monthly showcase update, w/ two new bots.

Schweinehund 2 is the sequel to my CW rear-hinge which made the top 16 of AN2, and imo its a huge upgrade, despite having a sorta weak chassis.

And for geodome I build Venojolt, an overhead thwackbot which I used rammer.py to get the torque reaction in AI.

Something about the arm support end on circuit breakers saw and hammer saw configs seems off. Like it needs to be wider.  I like the grabber config, but kinda wish it had a different fork setup to go with it to emphasize the grab.

The bugs are fun. Sectional bots are just entertaining.

Is there a pic of heatwave's crusher firing?

Are the axebots capable of self-righting? I'm looking for a way to revamp Piercing Stare.

Yes
What's the secret to making that work? I've tried all kinds of crap on Piercing Stare, and he's either a havok bomb or too weak to self-right.

For Ice Pick, the burst arc is set to 2.9 radians, for Circuit Breaker, counterweights on the other end of the arm.

This month's update a day late bc I'm stupid.

Deeper Blood, the sequel to Deep Blood, took 6 weeks to build bc I usually build in pretty short sittings, huge divergence from the predecessor's design.

And then DSL 2.5 dropped, so I build Playground Terror, a LW vert using the new belted piglets which I've been waiting to check out for quite some time.

This month's update:

Updated Cola Can to 2.5 w/ an overvolted motor, slashing teeth and reskinned the panels making the ring w/ a custom UV map to have more than just a single solid colour.

New bot, dual existence, prolly the first meta vert I've completed, very happy w/ how it turned out.  Now just gotta wait for LORD new blood to enter signups.

This month, I've made upgrades to Heatwave, such as giving it the ability to last 3mins, much cleaner panelwork and some spicy new skinning, while getting it in weight for 2.5 (before these upgrades it was 15kg overweight).

New bots, first is Backhand, the first AW I've ever entered into a tournament.  Its a piston flipper.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Also for new bots is Twopaz, a sequel to the MA1 champion Topaz.  I saw someone say they wanted to see an Orby style HS in RA2, and that gave me the idea for this bot's design.

Time for another monthly update.

Updated Pitstop for 2.5.  Changes include much cleaner panelwork, new spoiler design at the rear and moved the flipper hinge down to halfway up the wedge, not ideal for the design but ppl were screaming top-hinge so **** it.

New bot: Bodyhammer, LW wedge, spiritual successor to NHAB.

Just one bot to show off this month again, Chu2, a MW front-hinge.  Note: after this splash was made, I've since removed the decals from the sides of the wedge bc I wasn't keen on how they combined w/ the bot in that position.

Cool bot, your skinwork really makes it difficult to distinguish what parts are chassis and what parts are extenders which is impressive. Personally I wouldve gone with a little less red but the cloudy parts match the aesthetic well. Also thats an interesting way to make the drive work on the chambered chassis lol.

The extenderwork is mostly there to make up the weight w/o looking like I didn't try to add to the bot w/ it after the bot ended up at 729 w/ a 72v motor and the highest armour I could get w/o going over 800.  As for the drive, the bot itself was inspired by Triton but I decided to make a bunch of differences that'll clearly show that the bot's design isn't just a straight up clone.

Was hoping that my first new build of the year would've been finished weeks before now, but eh.  Deepest Blood is a return to the big vert roots of one of my oldest lines of robots, but this time it actually looks good as a big vert.  The tail which I added in response to feedback received on discord means the bot can't self-right just from the disc hitting the floor, but it still can w/ gyro!  Although idk how well that'd work in AI, but I have the version from before I added the tail backed up so if the AI shoots itself from trying to gyro self-right, I can just use that version.  As for the green you can see in the disc, that's just the backdrop used to ss the bot and didn't want to crop out the semi-transparent bits in the disc so I could show them off.

This is Demon Princess, a britflipper w/ the design inspired by Tectonic.  When I thought of doing the eyes, I thought to myself "how about doing a grin too like Iron-Awe does?" and tbh it does very much have IA vibes.  Drives beautifully in the arena, if only there were parsec tournaments for me to enter it into.  Flipping power is a little low w/ the arc as it is (45 degrees to have the top bit of the flipper be lined up w/ the sloped bit behind it when fired), kept it as it is for the splash bc I feel it'll look better than going wider, but will likely widen it while making sure the panel wedge can get under stuff.

My entry for draft day is Smilodon, a crusher which uses ice picks for teeth (that was an experiment I decided to take w/ the looks when seeing what parts were available to me in drafting).  Initially planned for it to be dinosaur themed but then saw how it looks w/ the ice picks and decided a sabretooth cat would be a better theme.  The head for the weapon weighs a **** ton so it has moments of rearing up when it starts moving, although it can still drive w/ its front on the floor for the most part.  It also has an issue w/ gyro flipping itself if it has a certain amount of forward momentum while turning.

Might switch for a lighter weapon head at a later date but considering I've already built it and there's not much time left, this'll have to do for now.

Also, I've got a little other thing to share...

Was watching BB on itv4 and this idea popped into my head so I decided **** it I'm gonna build it.  Had more fun building it than my other recent builds, possibly bc I just came up w/ it and built it there and then rather than having a several bot long list of ideas in my head w/ a set order to build them in.  This is Blue Phoenix, a flaming hammer that I came up w/ while watching Lockjaw v Duck.  Really happy w/ the job I've done w/ the panelwork on this one, feeling much better about the finished product this time than I have in quite awhile.  Might move the phoenix decal to the neon blue 60x100 and make it a tad bigger as I feel that'll look better than how it is rn but its late so that'll happen another day.

I've finally made changes to dual existence.  The upgrades include the weapon motor being upped from 24v to 48v, some more durability in areas around the front, notably the panel wedge now being steel rather than alu and a new srimech that's better than barely functional.  The robot also looks noticeably different.  The weapon motor's been moved forward, meaning no more need to cover it up w/ a drum, the sides have been redone, and the skinning has also been redone.  While typing this out I realised I forgot to skin a gap in the srimech like I did w/ the wedge for the disc to spin through!

Here's my new robot for team RA2tress, Photon Melodies, which I also hoped I'd be able to get ready in time for wen's tracked tournament, which is why it has tracks.  For this one I tried decreasing the amount of BFE I used, its too early for me to say if this is the start of me slowly phasing out BFE from my builds or just the start of a decrease in how much I use it.  As for the robot's looks, I'm very happy w/ how it looks, feeling confident that it can be highly rated by the community and hoping that I'll feel such confidence when building stuff throughout the year.  Had a few inconsistent results in testing how good its wedge is and the body is fragile, but its agile and drives beautifully, aswell as having a very powerful flipper.

After making the splash I changed the white bits on the sides to black due to some feedback I received.

Made some changes to Chu2.  Upgraded the drive to dual mags, but this has required me to drop the burst to a VDMA front-hinge and make the armour less durable to fit it in the MW limit.  Also added some skinning to the front and sides to make it hopefully grab ppl's attention more, and hopefully when I test the wedge to see how good it is, it will no longer be useless for getting under anything.
