This is a showcase for my DSL-TC bots (gee, who'da thunk?)
My first robot is a LW VS, Psychoblade.

It has low battery life, but other than that it's quite powerful. It also has 3mm Titanium armor.

While you have been gone, we discovered that ant batts are the pwnzorz. Use them instead of your red batts. Try a faster drive motor and use a more damaging weapon.
-
You could easily use TWM's or NPC's for drive. Get rid of that cheat control board, and swap the ice picks for heavy ds teeth.
-
Are the vertical control boards considered cheating? I didn't know.
-
That one is a cheat comoponent, yes. The small and blue control board can be mounted vertically.
-
Weapon is too high.
And yes, 3 or 4 ant batts on this is fine.
Also ice picks have normals, try to avoid these.
-
use skirt hinge wedges or metal hinge wedges. They are better than static wedges.

Wait wait wait...
3 ants (30amps, 19.5KGS) are better than a Battlepack (28amps, 15KGs) ?!?!?!
AH MAI GAWD!! I didnt know that ;O
Edit: I noticed the link in my sig wasnt broken...
Whai didnt you guys tell meh!?! RAWRR!!!
-
AMP isn't what makes a battery good.

We were pointing and laughing... because it was funny. :gawe:

Using only ant batts is good on most designs unless you're starting to use Beta bursts.
I'll augment the other batteries' electotal in one of the NAR AI patches.

Here's another robot. It is perhaps one of the (if not THE) first true popups in DSL that not only follows the realistic rule, but is quite efficiant as well.

There are a lot of true popups back then, and SlashBack's probably the first one. :P
Anyway, halfsheet's aren't really that good for defense, so it's better to stick to a single tite sheet. Also, skirt hinge wedges are becoming obsolete nowadays, so turn them into metal hinge wedges.
And based on a recent discovery, BSGs are just as good as Mags despite the stats shown. And 4-5 would be enough for this. :D
-
How is this a true popup? This has a normal popup setup.
-
i dont know if ive been on this forum long enough to offer advice but too much empty space. also add more irons or change to razors. and change the extender to polycarbonate.
-
Well Bubbles, you are right.
Though changing the external extenders to polycarbonate might be a bad idea.
-
just the weapon extenders because they wont be out for long.
Edit:I like the name bubbles.
-
Razors are better than Irons for popup weapons.
P.S. I agree with Bubbles, just so I could say Bubbles. Hi Bubbles!
