Eh, I have been building in DSL 2.2, but not everything is up to my best, for example, these three bots that were sitting in my bot lab:

I built these for a personal project of mine that will never happen now, so here they are.

A winner is you.

Anyway...

I know, blatant Splinter clone.  I admit it, it isn't my best work, but I just felt drained from RA2 when building it, so I just threw it together for the sake of throwing it together.  I haven't tested this in combat yet, but it's fun to drive around.

Also...

I was hoping to at least get a laugh or two out of this team, yet that can't disguise the fact they're not that great and that they're IRL drums.

Whoa, Porcupine is awesome.  It reminds me of the Sandslash bot I made for Craaig's Pokemon tournament, except not a Pokemon.  Needs more spikes on front and less on top to make it good though.

Potential Axe-ample entry:

I literally just finished building it, so I have no idea how well it can fight.  I wanted to go with something a little more unorthodox for my bot.  I could also try to make a 8645T style bot, but this feels a little more original.  Might think it through before sending it.

Actually, no.  I had to use LaserGuidedTH.py since servos are different in DSL than the ones in stock.

Also, thanks for the positive comments guys.  :)

But, Lightning made a robot in DSL which uses LaserGuidedV2.

I was thinking about updating Thunderclap for that tournament.  In the interest of not turning it into Axe-ample Episode II: The Clone Wars, I think I'll go with plan B.  (I do actually have a plan B, so don't feel bad about entering that bot.)

Love that design.  The new 2.2 parts make it so much easier to make the turret look nice.  I used LaserGuidedTH for Thunderclap and Thunderhead.
