Skin isn't perfect on this one, so I might work on this one a bit more. I hope you like what it's got now.

How did you get the Backlash disk to go through your body? When I try it, it always says that it can't go through the body.
You search and search for something, never realizing it is within and always has been.
You can not find it, you can not understand it, you simply accept, and believe, and it will grow.

I imagine RedAce will have used Axle Loading to move the motors axle out of the bot and then attached the disc.

Holy carp.  I'm actually posting here.

Plastic 5, 9 ants, (which I didn't notice until now as a matter of a fact), NPC Fasts, 4 razors per BSG, and slight AGOD in the wedges.

Yep, some of you might recognize this bot.  It's that bot I used for that challenge against Marty.  I wanted to accomplish three things with this.

1. Create a side popup since they aren't as common.
2. Make a hybrid.
3. Not recycle an old bot for the challenge.

So yeah, I took the cowards way out by making something overpowered as all hell.  Sue me.

Edit: Oh yeah.  I need ideas for my Throwback tourney.  Throw them out there.

it's a nice bot, good wedges too

Have you tried a setup where the bsg's are reversed so it pops the opposite way to see if it's more effective damage wise?

Yes I did, but it was unrealistic with that setup used.

Okay, uh, here:

(Image removed from quote.)
Well I'm late aren't I?

If any of you are wondering on why it looks (so... uh, what's the word?) Old-School, it's for my Throwback tournament, and I thought I was really late on this challenge, so I decided to in a way, kill two birds with one stone.

799.1, Plastic 5, one orange and red battery, 2 medium tanks, NPC norms, jibber jabber...

Is this meant to be intentionally inefficient or just look old school? If the latter, get rid of the plastic skirts at the front; you only want to attach skirts to the middle connector otherwise your wedges go from real good to real terrible.

That doesn't necessarily answer my question. Looking old school doesn't necessarily mean he intentionally chose a worse wedge option.

Yes that was the point.  You must not have been looking at the active tournaments these days, because I essentially made that a rule where at least two APs of the Skirt hinge must be used.

5 1/2 months since I've built something IRL?  Well then.

Not a very amazing bot, but I thought I could make a bot that uses the cool, but very situational Mortis.py.

And if there will be another HW IRL tourney sometime in the future, I might have interchangeable weapons for this.

I made a similar not called Ivan a while back. This brings me back memories of actually having creative ideas. Cool bot :)
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything
