Maybe something you can try for the SnS is to make the hammers perpendicular to the motors by attaching the outer CF extenders to the side APs of the inner CFs.  Then wire the robot to spin so the ends of the hammers hit first.  When I tried this on V.M. Worker, it seemed to cause more damage than when it hit with the broadside of the hammers.

Not sure about the rammer.  If I remember correctly, Erebus had trouble driving straight because of the weird NPC collision meshes.  I don't know if yours has the same problem, but apart from that it looks okay...

and yes, #bringbackclashcubes

I tried using polycarbs, but they didn't work well with the mesh of the NPCs or just didn't work the way I wanted it to.

But anyway, LW:

I originally had it with a skirt stabilizer and LDS for weapons, but it sucked. So I swapped them out for razors and it fights much better, and to top it all off, no wedge AGOD. I think I got something up my sleeve with handling this wedge AGOD crap now.
There needs to be a DSL-S LW tourney now.
Edit: Oops forgot about the razors there. I think they should be fine realistic wise since they could behave like gears and AtaxiA did the same thing.

Gut feeling tells me that doing a setup like my Ironforge bot, Tyga, would be more weight efficient.

Meh tier BBX team:

Cutter: Hazard clone. Generic, but the skin looks better than the one on Moros. :P
Hound II: I wanted to enter Cyanide, but Hound II just looks better
Beast: If you've seen HFT Fall 2014, you should reognize this.
Super Gigabyte 5.0: Evolved from HW to SHW.

I don't mind if I win or lose in the first round of what may be the last Battlebots in the series, I'm proud of the skins I gave them.

Remember when LW cube flippers were all the rage?

Plastic 3, 6 ants, the rest should be visible. This is different than those 2 BSG flippers, but intead, it has 1 JX Burst. Totally different. :approve:

Hey remember those bots in that I entered in that tournament I hosted which got four entrants?

Yeah, they aren't good as I thought. SpyGuy had it's weapon motor on the panel that is right in front of it. What the hell was I thinking? The motor on Rolo was also exposed since the Alu skirt doesn't reach  out to actually protect it.

Still a pretty ironic duo itself. That's what I like about these two bots.

Also, I tried to improve Rolo and this is what I got:

This was my original bot for that challenge against Thrackerzod, but yugitom had issues with havok. No idea what actually is happening with it during the match since I never got those issues. Maybe it was Thrackerzod's bot and it caused Quark syndrome where it faced a certain bot and it is a havok bomb. Either way, the result was a Bloody Mess.

Not sure how I like sacrificing motor protection for weapon power, but the undercutter design is a nice touch.

edit: oh right maybe I should actually comment the bots.

The bots are good. Nothing to complain about as far as DSL-S goes. All generic though but that's fine.

it's not like:
-it's an ultra generic design
-you are not the one to pioneer the design
-most DSL-S builders have a HS like that in their botlab

it's like if now someone is going to build a DSL MW popup with 2 snappers, 6 razors, 2 NPC fasts, 2 hypnos and 2 metal hinge wedges and after that call every other generic mw dsl popup a clone of their special snowflake popup.

if someone has to claim the right of the design it must either be me, Reier, R0B0SH4RK or maybe urjak. Probably robo due to Enfilad3.

Well, I ain't winning any awards for originality anytime soon though.

Actually, I have an idea how to fix that. I'm gonna ask nicely that you post two really old DSL bots that are singular bot types and I will try to combine them and try to make them (good) hybrids. No restrictions on combinations. Go nuts fellas.

i may not be the one to pioneer it (though i've already said that I didn't see Ounce's robot before making the initial Final Z prototype) but most people recognize mine as the icon of that design.

I'm not here to start another argument though, I'm just here to say it's not a bad spin on the design.

Okay, uh, here:

Fun fact: These were both potential designs for Dirty Dan that I scrapped in favor of the (now famous) T-shaped poker design.

angle connectors in DSL = no

ramplates are kinda crap as well.

the other one is good though. don't see the point of the carbon fiber extender ? is it to piss people off ? is it HS "armor" ? because it's not stabilizing or preventing immobilization in any way.
