Have you been enjoying all these ripoffs out of my own showcase ?

At least the blade barrier clone has hammer protection. Though I'm not sure how worthy is hammer protection, really, considering the rarity of hammers.

What, the ripoffs of the ripoffs you showcased? ;)

Top protection is always handy for those gyroing spinners who always manage to smash your chassis in the precise spot to OHKO you.

I do believe Blade Barrier and that Black Storm v3 (or whatever the hell it is named) were NOT ripoffs, actually.

Blade barrier was just a ripoff of Ounce's trapper, wasn't it?  And that shell spinner is the bog standard shell spinner design that Urjak came up with :)
it's not a bog-standard since it has a static spinner to take advantage of spikeball mode (which is admittedly cheap and kinda crawler-gay)

but i don't even remember if i ripped them off, it's been such a long while and i am drunk :O

Yes it was:

OK so mine had a piston, but I still came up with the weapon design first.

On topic, nice shell spinner RedAce.  I like how it incorporates both horizontal and vertical flails as well as the static weapons for whenever it goes into spikeball mode.

those would be cheatbot2 M.O.E. parts
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

To me, Toasty boy, it looks like quite a lot of BFE went into that bot.

I remember Max made a tutorial not so long ago. You have to build a tall chassis, put the motor in, then BFE it so the chassis goes below the motor. That's what I remember anyway.

That's the way I did it. I believe I asked about it for one of my first bots to do it somewhere in this showcase.

Edit: And to answer this question you may have:

How do ya edit chassis height?

I believe Speed Demon had a similar issue itself XD

Looks good, but it's nothing really interesting.

I haven't built beetleweights in a while. I'm feeling I'm kinda...

Yeah. Plastic 3 and 2 ants.

Also this:

Generic, I know. Plastic 3, (I think) 3 ants, copal drive, and piglet for the weapon.

Both of them look pretty swaggin'. I'd smalled the chassis on the SS and put more weapons on, though - flails don't really matter with BW's and AW's, it's mostly about the weapon weight.

Urjak and 123 would like to disagree. Really depends on the type of shell spinner you want.

At BW, I think you go either full glass cannon and make a CF extender shell or don't go with flails at all.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Actually, I do remember Urjak using CF extenders with flails just for the AW.

I probably will rebuild my BW to get a few extra flails.

I think I got 6 flail, 3 static at best. Though that might be overkill.

Steel 1, 3 ants, and the rest should be visible.
