Love it! I assume Bite Force's anti-spinner configuration was the inspiration for the second one?

May I play with it on the exchange?

Looks a lot like the Ronin rebuild in Restocked.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Thanks for the comments guys.  As for the Slaying Mantis thing, well...
Now for a totally original bot that I have made with my own style and definitely not stolen or inspired by anything.
I meant this in two ways.

May I play with it on the exchange?
Sure.  Have at it.

https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Exchange/DSL_HW/RedAce_Slaying%20Mantis.bot
https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Exchange/DSL_HW/RedAce_Slaying%20Mantis%20(Wedge).bot

Both versions are here.  And I wanted to make a wedge version to fend off the powerful spinners, as you may have guessed.

Did you mean ReForged?  Cause... the one in Restocked barely looks like this one.

oh speaking of which, i really should get to rebuilding those bots soon.

DP

So, I guess with BOTM done, I might as well post what I entered.

I said that this would be my last entrant, so I thought I would go out with a bang with an artbot with some witty portions.  Shame it only got two votes, which would normally be a bad thing, but considering the popular entrants were a compact side hammer made by S_M and a Steg-o-Saurus style bot by Thyrus (I assume), I don't feel robbed.  Disappointed in myself for not making at the same caliber, but I'm not salty, oddly enough.  I think I've lost my touch with making cool BOTM entrants, but I'm certainly done with BOTM... at least for a very long time.  Who know, I might give it another crack one day.

Also, if anyone has any cool ideas for what I should build in DSL 2.2 next, then tell me.  I'm out of ideas again.

I liked how you did the wheels so the back wheels were wider.  It's a cool bot, but there was definitely some tough competition.

What's with the BOTM hiatus? Over-saturation?

Partially, but I really wanted to just have like a BOTM entrant where I can go out with a high note.  Too bad it didn't work out so well.  :welp)

If that's what you were going for, why stop now? Go out winning if you want to go out on a high note.

As much as I would love to, I seem to have lost my touch in making good splashes with interesting designs.  It certainly is a difficult task to find the perfect balance between the two, and those superior entrants really make me say "Why didn't I think of this when making my entrant?" don't help.  It makes me feel that about 2 hours of work was put for nothing and it's tough to get that momentum back.  It's also like a promise thing that I said when the thread went up.  You don't break promises.  :P

Fair enough, I suppose. I just hope you get the spark back when RA3 comes out and we're doing BOTM's in that. Even though you may not win all the time, you add to the variety of good splashes/bots and you are consistently good.

Here, have some bots.  Enjoy their genericness:

MW Last Rites with a Mechavore disc.  This thing just eats anything in it's way and is ridiculously fast, and this thing is running on NPC norms.

SHW Whyachi Walker thing.  I'm only assuming SHW walkers are allowed to weigh 1600 kg with at least 400 kg used for the walking mechanism from Battlebots rules.  I mean, when's the next time there's gonna be an IRL DSL SHW tournament anyway?  It's probably the only time it's going to be used for it anyway, if one happens that is.  It's fun to mess with, and it's kinda quick... for a walker anyway.

now to ai the rest of the bots for tot 2

Welp, I got a bunch of bots to put here.

DSL bot for Trios of Terror II.  It's really meant to be a defensive trooper to score points rather than kill.  I probably didn't need the wedge edges for the back, but I had some weight, and I couldn't think of much else to use it on.

Cauldron 2 Entry.  I kinda wanted to be unorthodox and make a poker/juggler hybrid.  From what I've tested on, and by that, I mean my Frenemy Rumble entry and my Big Metal Friend for NAR AI, it's not bad.  Normals kinda hurt it unfortunately.

Cookie for whoever can guess where I got the name.  This thing is kinda slow spinning, but it does better when not moving with melty brain.  Sadly, when I was AI'ing it, I couldn't get this to turn counter clockwise with FBS_2.  So I had to use FBSPlus, which makes this spin slower, and that is not fun.

Generic IRL Bar Spinner.  Because why not?  I wasn't quite sure what to do with decals with the skin, so I just slapped a name and symbol on the top and thought it was fine.  Might add more to it in the future.  Framework could've been better, but I was kinda short on weight, and I didn't want to give up weaker chassis armor.

Nice work man :)
First and last bots are my favorites
I do feel like the bar spinner would look nicer if you used the green of the text in place of the cyan of the metal, and went for black text. That's just my preference, the actual layout of the skin and the construction of the robot I really like.

I got a bit of explanation for this one.  I've been rebuilding every bot from the Stock AI to be IRL.  I wanted to do because I remembered I built the High Voltage team for Jonzu's community pack that has had very slow development.  I didn't want them to go to waste, and I would like a little more IRL opponents to fight against other than the replicas in DSL 2.2.  So, if everyone is cool with it, I'll release all the bots I've built below as an AI pack.

Some I'm not as happy as I would like to be, so I might rebuild a couple before I release them.  If anyone wants a closer look at a bot or team, then let me know.
