Thanks for the suggestions guys.  I tried to rotate MAD's weapons so that they are all facing the same direction, but then the bot would tip to far forward and then become useless.  I got Big Metal Friend longer weapons by 20cm and a back stabilizer at the cost of weaker wedges.

Now for the rest:

This was gonna be an SnS that was also 1WD, but I couldn't get it working since it was a havok bomb, and 1WD isn't all that cool honestly.
inb4 sm is triggered

Yeah.  After seeing that I have more bots that use iron spikes than bots that use hammers, I might update this to have a hammer which might also help with combat.  Pretty nimble overall.

Really hoping that the wedges are good on this one, otherwise I spent an hour on making a SHW Hybrid for nothing.  Also, weird thing to note, but this bot taught me that the backdrop is annoying as an anti-ballast.  It has an attachment point way out of the zone which hinders the attachments.  So, if you do want to use it for an anti-ballast, make sure you attach it far away from the bot so it's out of reach.

But yeah.  I might fix these up before sending them.

DP

Probably the wide wedge base is the least authentic part about this, but I think the original NAR AI version had something similar to this, so I think it's alright.

I had no idea if I wanted to make Samurai a hammer or a popup, but since the original was a hammer, I decided to go with the former.  Probably gonna be rebuilt since the trapping device seems unneeded with HS and shell spinners probably nerfed without razors.

ermagahd empty space.  I kinda like how this one turned out otherwise.  Not sure if spike strips are a good alternative for popups, but those things have pretty good reach for what they are, so I guess?

I'll get the second half built probably over the weekend, but what are your thoughts on these?

I like them all.

Shogun having spike strips instead of samurai swords as popup weapons irks me, but it's still cool.

Ronin flags would be neat but you can instead put more stuff on the skin. Like more samurai clan insignas.

Update to Shogun and two more bots for Team Dragon.

Replaced the spike strips for samurai swords, and got the ronin flags on there since I felt Shogun was incomplete without them.  The downgrades was the armor (from 5mm Steel to 5mm Titanium I think) and shorter wedges.  It was done to help it self right.

When building this one, I noticed that the carbon fiber extenders now have an attachment point on the flat ends, which helped a lot with this one.  Rule of seven kinda got in the way, but it's pretty good I think.

Call it a BW Samurai with a slightly weaker weapon motor and low battery life.  Other than that, it's alright.  It can self right very efficiently and, it's quite maneuverable.

I'll probably send these tonight before I forget again.

cambered wheels = sparkey approves

also neat. We'll have quite a bit of AW's and BW's in this official release... more than the original, I see.

Shogun is good ! 5mm titanium is more than sufficient on a design like this.

what are your ideas on the last bot ?

It still appears very fragile to me. But maybe that's the point.

Oh right.  My Rival Rumble entry.

I kinda liked how it turned out overall, even the skin.  Unfortunately, the front doesn't quite match the rest of the body, but I still think it looks good.

i know i'm super late with this one, but what direction are the vertical spinners on insane asylum spinning? I would recommend having them spin the opposite direction from most, since that way they'll keep bots on your juggling disks better and be more likely to chop extenders

This is a remake of an old IRL bot that I made way back in 2013 (this one) and I decided to rebuild it with DSL 2.2 parts.  I know the eyes look a bit off, so I might fix that later.  I hope you enjoy the result with this.

Very sorry to hear about your cat, man. I actually did something similar to honor a deceased cat, which eventually got renamed into Final Z.

Thanks guys.  I really appreciate it.  :')

Anyway, Now for a totally original bot that I have made with my own style and definitely not stolen or inspired by anything.

It's pretty alright.  Slow as hell, as its only using single mags for drive, but it's still pretty good.  If you are wondering about the version on the right, then that is for taking on spinners and the Beta is actually geared opposed to the normal version.  This way it can catch bots inside and push them around.  Not sure how I will AI it though.  Probably with whatever .py TDD uses might do it, but I ain't quite sure.
