Wouldn't you be better with a few heavier weapons on the spinner and removing these irons, or are they really neccessary for protecting the hexs ?

It might be better to protect them with 40cm Alu skirts, that said.

Sage is right, unless Antimatter can make his VS lose momentum (which is tough since I cloned his setup and it's pretty challenging to beat, kinda like trying to beat Mome Rath with a gut-ripper). Anyway, I just swapped the weapons to 2 Hammer1s and it was more powerful, but the Perm became too exposed and can easily get torn away by inverted bots. I'll probably fiddle around with the weapon setup later.

Looks good though. I'm liking the increased use of hex plates lately.

It's called Blacksmith. Guess what it can do! :P

5mm tite, NPCFs, 4 large Odysseys, 2 large tanks, Hammer4 on a Spring-loaded Beta, and 4 flamers (plus a Tornado spike that doesn't really do much). Yeah, its rear kinda looked like Guard Duty, but that was unintentional. I was testing if flamers on skirt hinges would have an increased range, but it didn't. But it does have an advantage - epic ninja battles with Guard Duty. XD

Yeah, I turned that into a piston hammer now, with 4 large tanks and 2 30kg sledges on a long VDMA. Works better now, but piston's too brittle for me. Oh well, it's just for the lulz. :P

Anyway, I just built 5 bots today (woohoo personal records XD) along with the new Antimatter for my new all-VS team for NAR AI. Here are the Launch Vehicles:

Bot0, Kinetic Energy Penetrator. 3mm tite, 3 ants, two small and two large BBs powered by a Mag. You'll be seeing this baby somewhere else, too. XD

Bot1, Mass Driver. 1mm tite, 4 ants, NPCs, 2 30kg sledges powered by a 4-Mag. Not really serious on this bot, I just want to put a Tornado Mer gearbox on it just for the

of it. Performs decently, so it's in. XD

Bot2, Particle Accelerator. 3mm plastic (along with a full hex plate belly armor), 6 ants, NPCs, 4 Hammer2s powered by 2 Perm132s, with 2 Vlad spikes at the end of the stabilizers. I also built this for the lulz, but its performance surprised me (IT TOOK OUT THAT CHEATBOT! FINALLY! =D). But it still couldn't take out even a single plow from FnF. >:E

Bot3, Ion Thruster. 3mm plastic, 3 ants, and shares the same weapon system with KEP. Outwedges a lot of MWs, can self-right as well. I love this bot. :D

Bot4, Antimatter. As you can see it has a different weapon system. All I can say is that it's definitely deadlier now. >=D

Bot5, Dark Matter 2. 5mm tite, NPCFs, 4 60kg sledges powered by 2 6-Mags. I suck at building SHWs, and this one's no exception. Oh well. Gets the job done. XD
