Oops. I forgot. Those are normal NPCs, so they have 3x the HP. :D

But TJH's driving became a bit unreliable once I attached the casters, so the above version will do.

And now, here's the rebuild for Nation's Pride! :D

This is no doubt my best BW, with 2 ants, 3 SirK drills (middle one is BFE'd but it's still realistic), and 2 light DS teeth. Armor is 5mm plastic, I think. This bad boy almost de-shelled Bane II (yes, the LW), but the time ran out. XD
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

I was talking about your VS's Perm 132 EL.

The beetleweight looks very good - but Code Red and RIOG both suck.

How the heck do you easily keep up with today's building standards?  D:

BTW, I think XBlade^2 (I really wish I could insert exponents >.<) sucks compared to the new one  :p

@ Nary - So far, none of your HWs can rip off the Perm. But Big Metal Friend once made it smoke (got KO'd five seconds later :P). But I'll think of a way to protect it when I have the time. :D

@ Ouncey - I haven't built anything new for the past 2 months. All of my bots are rebuilds. I have a creative bot in the works, but it kinda sucks. So you're not alone. :P

@ JB - TIB has a nasty trait of not letting go of its opponents, and those in the battleshots are SHWs. But anything can still happen, so yeah. XD

(middle one is BFE'd but it's still realistic)

I can't say I agree with this practice.  That's opening a can of worms right there.

"The Dual Perm passing through the chassis is BFE'd, but it's still realistic."

If I just ignore the BFEing, though, that bot looks great.

Ah, good point.

The original version didn't use BFE, but the meshes of the drills were rotated unevenly so the driving became wonky. I figured that if I can stack them this way, I'd just BFE them since it's just fixing my attachment rotations. :D

Here's what I submitted to Joe for the Epic Showdown. I also posted the bot file in the thread, but here's 3nigm4:

Basically The Inglourious Basterd with weaker front armor and an extra skirt wedge in the middle just in case it loses both while self-righting.

And Nary's not the only one building full-body popups:

It was supposedly built to be a full-body flipper (much like Atmos), but it's too slow to fling it away. 12 ants, NPC drive, 30kg sledge ballast, 16 heavy DS teeth, and the one in the splash has 3mm aluminum. I forgot about that so now it has 3mm plastic and doubled the length of the aluminum sheets on the top. :D

And finally, a bot I just whipped up 5 minutes ago:

Some of you might know ACAMS' 2.4, which was impossible to put any battery inside without BFE. I made it larger and gave it 1mm tite, so its name is 2.8. I made this just to see if it works, and it did decently. But its setup can't be made effective at a LW level. Too bad. XD

the last one, good job using that size of that chassis. the extender and sheet look like that would provide more use on the other side though

the FBPu is very cleaver with what looks like the top overhanging sheets allow the enemy to push the chassis backward increasing the power of the pop up

I was gonna enter Obso1337 into S32's tourney, but I got too lazy and ran out of time to make the splash. And actually, the top trapper's supposed to be a self-righting sheet. Now I just realized it can trap well, too. XD

As for the LW, I'll test it with Apanx's FBS.py too see if it can fare well. Also, it doesn't need a stabilizer on the other side. What it needs is at least 200cm of stabilizer otherwise the power of the drive would make the whole bot lean to the wheel's side, making the hammer fly up and the drive vulnerable.

I might include it in the next NAR AI if it performs decently. :D

Hey, I'm not the only one. There's Scrappy, Reier, and more. XD

Anyway, I've been tinkering with numerous VS designs for CC3, and this is the one I'll probably be entering:

This is Antimatter, the 3rd bot in the Matter series. 3mm plastic, 3 ants, NPCFs, 6 Heavy DS teeth and 2 irons on a Perm 80, plus 2 small beater bars on a 20x80 DSL bar for frontal protection. I've decided to go for a gut-ripper instead of a hard-hitter since the walls are lower now (and it's tough to build a hard-hitter in the MW class anyway). But I'm totally relying on the wedge this time since it can't self-right (but it can scoot inverted). And its motor is still quite exposed even with the irons as active guards. Oh well, I still like the way it looks. XD
