Here's my latest attempt at upgrading The Bear Jew:

Same internal stats, but with medium VDMA instead of a Storm piston. I ditched the vertical trapper and now has 2 Cleppy tails and 2 30kg sledges. But this time, it either owns madly or throughly gets owned. As you can see from some of the battleshots above, its top is quite open to attack. And if any wedge flanks from the side, it's doomed but only a number of MWs can outwedge TBJ2 head-to-head.

It's good to see that small wedges are being used again in DSL. XD

T-t-triple post!

Here's a prototype a was working on a few weeks ago and eventually became the final bot for my 2nd team. This is The Inglourious Basterd:

5mm tite, 5 ants + 1 battlepack, NPCFs (duh), 2 Perm 80s (one S and one L), 8 medium and large BBs. I know it's kinda underpowered, but the snappers are rarely used since they are just for self-righting (it can do it most of the time, but I couldn't work out the little kinks). Wedges aren't really exceptionally challenging, but as you can see it can still go under HnM from time to time. >=)

Yeah, I was merely playing around in the first place, but it eventually became a juggler when my initial draft was a drum. XD

Also, the juggler master doesn't have jugglers in his AI pack! :O

It looks pretty good, but these ramplates are worthless (especially because of low HP) and IMO high-DP piercing weapons are necessary on a good gut-ripper...

Also battlepacks = useless on a spinner, just use ants.

Night Terror's a juggler? I thought it was a FS. Oh well. XD

And I used BBs since InfCon used them. But yeah, I'll get work on a slightly bigger chassis and add some ants. But for now, what do you guys suggest for side armor while making the srimech realistic?

Infcon is outdated.

Hazcon is largely superior and did managed to KO Blade Barrier on their first fight XD

Rebuilt the whole thing, here's it's rebuild:

Downgraded armor to 5mm plastic, but now has 8 ants, 4 medium BBs, 2 large BBs, 2 razors, 8 light DS teeth, and 2 static spike strips. Better wedges, but I still ran into the same problem as before. It needs to have its drive wired to go in reverse for its srimech. But whenever it lands on the ground, the bot still goes in reverse and even gets counted out when it's pushing itself against the wall. Any suggestions on how to solve this? D:

90% might be a bit too high. Maybe 80% since I suck at DSL snapper wedges. :P

And yesh, BountyHunter.py works nicely on this bot. And now I need to build bots that can send this OOTA since it gets under Second Sentinel 95% of the time. :P

Eherm. Anyway, I managed to remove half of the ants from The Jew Hunter and now it has a faster and stronger drive, and stronger side protection.

The Inglourious Basterd's also upgraded, with SirK drills for side armor, and is submitted to TG for his tourney. >=D

A rebuild for Nation's Pride (a.k.a. Hard Hat) is up next, just a few more tweaks and the splash will be up soon. :D

[Edit] TJH has normal NPCs instead of NPCFs, so the HP is tripled. :D

hehe one of my bots strategies should be able to hang with that robot .. I wont say to much because knowing my luck I will have to eat those words :P

It's too low, but I'll try too attach 2 casters when I try to free some weight. :D
