You can remove 1 ant battery and save 1 kg by using the large control board (lighter than the small one)

What is the weapon motor ?

That would be fine for a MW, but not enough for a HW. HW shell spinners need either 6-Mags, either dual perms.

Also the drive isn't enough. For a HW, You need minimum 2WD TWMR drive + Hypno wheels or 2WD NPC Fast + wide ant wheels.

Welcome to the forums, Ben. ;)

It's not too bad for a first bot, but Naryar's got it about right, the weapon and the drive are both lacking in power. A good starting point would be NPC motors, they're the best drive motors of the lot, but go for the TWMR3's if you're not too interested in outright speed. Hypno wheels are also an excellent choice for their relatively high grip value.

A HW Sheck Spinner does need a big powerful motor, preferably a 6-Mag or a Dual Perm as Naryar said. The weight of these motors, in turn, means that there's less weight for you to use on weaponry, which is actually quite good, because it means a faster spinup time, and more ability to throw opponents.

The one thing that's quite good, is you have only used five ants for this, which is quite in keeping with the one ant per spin motor rule that we have around here. I, personally, always try to overpower my bots slightly, so I'd probably use 4 ants in this bot. And the chassis can be made smaller, I know it's frustrating, but it's quite a good way to save weight, plus it gives your opponent less to hit.

Quite good for a first attempt, try taking people's advice on board, experiment to see what works and what doesn't, and your bots should improve fairly quickly. =D

So this guy is edgeviller pker 34 ? I think his posting style is slightly different though.

Maybe he felt he was a n00b under the EPK34 name, then decided to change with a new username (see LRA2).

Urgh, what's with the double acounting and new shocase creating then.
It wasn't necessary, edgeville hadn't peeved everyone off like avalanche for example.
