UHW madness now. Screw Argonaut, if COTT gets off the ground, this is what I am entering.

Presenting RUNTIME ERROR.

4996.7 kg, Steel 10, 23 ants (I think), and 140 beater bars! Basically a UHW Vaild Query 2, which means it's also totally invertible. But my favourite feature of this robot is 16 WHEEL DRIVE. 16 NPC Left/Right Fast Motors and Techno Wheels for epic speed. Why? Because I could.

You could sacrifice some of your side weapons (and your skin) for top and bottom armor. I'd hate to see it lose to a gut-ripper in seconds.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)

Speed won't be the issue here. Driving straight, however...

Driving straight is fine. And S_M......I know. I had no space left after the motors and the wheels and the batteries. I had to make it bigger than the grid just to get everything to fit.

But it's still fairly fast for a UHW. My comp is laggy as heck when I run this, so it might not be entirely accurate.

:D

Will either do tons of damage or get OOTA'ed in the first round. Considering Somebody's using the Blade Arena it could be either even vs. a wedge bot.

Eclipse II

1190.3kg, Steel 5 (I think), 2 ants, large CB, NPC Fasts, Overkills. 32 flail Harpoons. Basically an experiment into axle loading that turned into a SHW Flail SnS. One disc on the bottom, one disc on the top. Has a tendency to "pop" its axles vertically for some reason, but it only happens when it ISN'T spinning. No idea why.

Yeah, I put the axles there because they would point into the next axle if I used the connection point on the end of the beater. Really, the whole bot was just to see if I could get axle loading to work.

Another axle loading experiment bot, this time a curiously angled DVS that actually fares better in combat than I thought it would. Plastic 3, I'm fairly sure, NPC Fasts, and realistic. Everything except the drive is built from a halfsheet on the bottom. Completely took Mako apart, hammers and all, but lost a wheel doing so, so I couldn't KO it before the three minutes were up.

Downgrade to NPCs and upgrade your armor. A high-DP rammer can OHKO you in the first few seconds when the Perms aren't at full speed yet.

Yeah, NPC fasts are too much for this design.

Maybe downgrade to 60kg's and get 5mm Titanium ?

Downgraded the drive, shortened the rear stabilizer, and upped the armour to 3mm Titanium. Now stands at 799.8kg.

Double Post.

Eternal Flame. 788.1kg, Plastic 1, NPC Fasts, 2 ants, 2 small air tanks. Axle loaded wheels.

For this bot, I started out trying to combine the Trinity Glitch with Joe's SnS Octane Glitch, but that didn't really work too well, so I replaced the Burst pistons with Servo Pistons, and the results were quite interesting.

This is Eternal Flame performing the Trinity Glitch, but it's not quite as simple as that. When the pistons and flamethrowers are extended/fired together, the bot stops spinning for some reason, and starts up again, but it spins faster and faster, much faster than it would normally, until we reach its this situation, with the pistons out of their rangle, axles popping out, spinning at mad speeds, flames covering the entire floor, everything. But it's not uncontrollable. You can end the spin simply by releasing the control, rather than waiting for one of your weapons to fly off into a wall. And then the bot slows down, the pistons and axles return to their places, and you can drive around the arena as if nothing had happened.
