Kinda rounding off my team of popup-beating HS's with a SHW. Couldn't really find any SHW popups in NAR AI to test it against, it was pretty much SnS's and Mikado 2, but it almost beat Neptune [lost by 34 points] and immobilised Death Web. And the motors don't come off that often. =D

Pretty cool. Maybe you should make it flatter and then invertible with overkills/WBC's and find a way to put heavy plows on.

EDIT: O WAIT did you inverted the motor's setup compared to a classic HS ? :O

Yeah, I did, that's how they're so good against wedges. =D I just wanted to make something to beat them that wasn't a flail spinner.

Not all that often, it seems like the gyroscopic forces of the disc tend to keep it facing wheels-down.

EDIT: I've tweaked the setup a little bit. Drive and weapons are still the same, but the rear wheel/motorguard has been removed, the anti-immobiliser has changed, armour has been upgraded to 3mm Aluminium, and I've added some wheel/motorguards on the sides.

Mostly to protect the flipper segments. And so it doesn't get stuck on the side arm and the anti-immobilizer.

It looks a little underweaponed for a SHW.

I think he only thinks it's underweaponed because the weapon isn't very big. Compared to some of the SHW SnS's that people make, its weapon has a much smaller radius.

Finished off the popup-beating, robot-eating team now. *dances*

Antweight bot first, Ant-Eater (badoom tish)
Pretty much a very small Wheels Are Tasty. Not sure how many Antweight popups and wedges there are, so it might not do as well as I'd hope in a tournament.

Beetleweight next, Beetle Biter. Yay terrible puns.
I may have overdone it with the four ants, I might redo this one soon. Maybe give it better armour without leaving empty space. Might put it in for Micro Mayhem. =P

And pretty much a total rebuild of Wheels Are Tasty.
MOAR WEAPONS. And that's about it. Better armour, too. I'm much more pleased with this one than the last version. I'm also very pleased about getting it bang on the weight limit. =D

On Ant-Eater, it might be less weight-consuming to make it invertible with bigger wheels (Minis)?

And that TWM3R is 400 HP AND very exposed :P

You know GK, i have nothing against you but I've grown quite enough of you attacking my recent modding work.

So either you STFU, either you explain what the heck is wrong with NAR AI in a clear language, other than "it's cheating"

I dont see how Nar Ai should be allowed in the DSL section as it has custom parts.

Having considered my position recently, I had decided to agree with some other members who are against the rebalancing of DSL you are doing. While I had nothing particularly against the components, I see the rebalancing of the armour as stupid and totally illegal, which I'll come onto in a moment, and I guess that kinda rubbed off on what I was saying about the components too.

The gripe I have over what you're doing is the armour. If we build a bot using NAR AI, just using DSL components that you rebalanced, and put it back in DSL, the bots'll still work and be perfectly legal, as the components' stats will simply revert to the DSL ones, hence why I don't care about your rebalancing of them. However, if I build a bot and apply one of your new armours, and then decide to take it back into DSL or enter a DSL tournament, the bot becomes totally illegal. I don't care if your new armours are 'more efficient', or 'not as good as plastic 5', they are not DSL. What is NAR AI? It says what it is in the title. An AI pack. The DSL AI pack to trump all DSL AI packs. Not a mod. Now you've changed the armour, the only things the same in DSL and NAR AI are most of the GMF's and a few bots in the Arthrobotics team (May be an exaggeration). Your work is no longer DSL. It's a 'more efficient' version, which isn't what DSL is.
