Is that because it always seems to flip over and bounce around on its weapons all the time?

Heavyweight Flipper this time, built around a Beta Spring Loaded Burst Motor. Was bang on 800.0 at one point, then i changed the setup a little bit. 3mm Aluminuim, I think, 2 TWMR3 Drive motors, quite a few of the batteries that chuck out 24.5 amps, the ones that say LONG on the side. Wedges at the front are titanium on the axles and flipper arm, steel everywhere else. I think. RA2 crashed when I took the screenshot, but I saved it before I did, so all the stuff should still be there. Also put the spikes and stuff on so it'd do a little bit of damage. Also self-rights easily.

Artsy, but I can't see it being overly effective.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Artsy but the long batts and 3mm aluminum :fail:. Use some ants and 3mm tite instead. Also, n-12s arent good. try to find weight for technos, if not then use hypnos or vlads.

So very messy...

It also needs NPC fasts and Technos if you want it to be good.

Been making some DSL LWs, largely due to ZPN's epic failure in BBEANS 6. Three of 'em, to be exact. And a MW that started out as a hammer before I completely redesigned the weapon system.

First up was Titus 250, a LW shell spinner with 1mm Plastic, 2 Ant Batteries, 2 Astroflights and a TWM3R.

Then came Techno Dancer, a bar spinner with 1mm Plastic (again), 2 Astroflights, 4 Ants and a TWM3R2. 30kg Flail Sledgehammers. Sometimes havoks.

And then Hard Drive, a not-very-damaging rammer with 1mm Titanium, 2 Ants and 2 Astroflights.

And finally Mantis 2, a MW spinner with 1mm Titanium, 2 normal NPC's (lotsa HP. =D), 2 Battlepacks and a TWM3R2. Designed to ride up wedges and use the DSL Bars to damage them.

I would like to see insides of Mantis, Titus 250, and Techno Dancer.

Also, those flails on Techno Dancer don't do anything besides cause havoks.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Sure thing, Somebody. Sorry abour crappy resolution, I sized them up 'cause they were tiny.

Mantis 2's Internals. Nice and compact. ;)

Techno Dancer's Components. Quite well packaged.

Titus 250's Components. OMFG EMPTY SPACE. But this was just to kinda guage how much room I needed for next time.

DP:

Mantis 2 has been given a redesign for Combat Clusters, after some consultation with SM. Now featuring a self-righting arm and more damaging weaponry. Still has the same chassis, same stuff inside it, and slightly less powerful drive motors. Is actually a little bit different that the pictures here, with 4 Cutting Teeth on the DSL bar instead of the 20 to 40 pieces. And slightly different panels.

You are wasting a lot of weight on a srimech. Just make it invertible with larger wheels.

And cutting teeth are fail - use hammers or something without normals and larger.

Another update. Now more compact, still with the same chassis and a self-righter. Punishes wedges, especially in BBEANS arena. ;)

Use something else instead of N-12's, they aren't very grippy.

Took a kinda wierd route to make this next bot. Started out with an under-hammer bot akin to 123's first DSL bot, utilising the BSG-500's odd connection point on the bottom, then I noticed that 4 NPC Fasts were actually quite quick. So I used them on a rammer, which I made quite small and compact, and gave it a ton of Beater Bars for weaponry, and DSL bars and Side Plates for some protection. Actually deals a fair bit of damage, and is quite good at "capturing" smaller machines (Namely Grog The Warrior) between its "arms" and shoving them around. It was winning against Grog, too, until a Havok Bomb threw it out of the arena. Goddamn flail weaponry. Also does well in football games. 3mm Titanium.

Use 4 ants max, something else than these wheels (like slipperbottoms) and all that armor isn't going to help much.
