@Somebody: I think its a flipper and not a popup... the wedges tell it all.

8 razors at the moment, definitely needs more than that. And better wedges.

Builder's block has been cured with a brick.

Anyone?

Keystone 2, 248.1. Plastic 5, 2 ants, blue CB. NPC Fasts and Vlads, because Hypnos drove erratically. And it wasn't invertible anymore. Not tested the weapon setup in combat yet.

I HAVE BUILT A ROBOT WITH GOOD WEDGES. *dances the wedge dance*

New bot, regular popup, consistently outwedges FnF and HnM4 in NAR AI 2.3. Aluminium 5, 14 ants, 4 BSG's, 12 razors, 4 NPC Fasts with Hypnos, 795.6. Halfsheets won't attach to the bottom, though. HnM 4 still gets through them on Recoil 2, kills it in two or three hits, so I didn't much see the point. Can self right, but it sometimes takes a few tries.

Woops, forgot that. 795.6 or thereabouts, I can never remember the exact figure.

MW version of Wheels Are Tasty, not sure what to call it right now. Aluminium 3, 4 ants. Drive built off of the Tite Halfsheet on the bottom, protection doesn't seem to be that great from it. Surprisingly difficult to flip over, either backwards or sideways, aluminium skirt component and the disc work together to kick itself back onto its wheels. After around 2 minutes with Devil, all the teeth had come off the disc, and the disc had come off the motor, but still ended up with a WBP.

Your wheels might have huge HP, but your drive motors are still pretty weak (furthermore, the flipper segments holding the drive are even weaker). Find a way to protect the drive to fare better against gut-rippers (a weaker anti-immobilizer might help). :D

Updated. Tite 3 now, one less ant, lighter anti-immobilizer (that gets taken off quite easily), and angled side panels holding the motors on now. Seems to be the wheels that get taken off first now, so I think the motor protection has worked.

Likes taking off any wedges on the front of bots. Small, tite sheets, skirts. Was halfway through taking HnM4 apart, then an unlucky hit landed it on its back, and the anti-immobilizer got knocked off, leaving the exposed top for an easy KO.

I might drop back to Aluminium 3 and put an aluminium anti-immobiliser on.

Something I knocked up in around half an hour, trying to build a HW WAT/EAD. Possibly the world's most unstable robot, but actually very deadly when it's wheels are on the ground. Could do with having a bigger maxsphere. =P
799.2, Tite 1, 4 ants, NPC Fasts. Very hard to control. I'm calling it Whirlpool at the minute.

LOL at the 1337 score against Mako. =D
