Teeth have normals and fail anyways. Ripblade III uses beater bars and it RAPES the old Ripblade 2.

Should I use them instead?

Normals on a componets means there is a set spot on a weapon which deals damage. The weapon will not do damage should you hit an oponent with a different part of it.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

And that means weapons without normals do damage no matter how they hit... generally means more damage, so better.

This is my possible CC3 entry. 2 problems: it's underweight, and its srimech doesn't work.

Any advice?

The thing is: I like stock A LOT more than DSL. I've been waiting for a stock tourney for a while, but none have come up.

The only thing(s) wrong with the bot is that it is hard it outwedge other wedges. Also, the weapons have a short range.

use metal hinges for the wedge.

He can stick with that wedge, depending on a few factors: how heavy are the wedges, how much degrees is the hinge, and etc. Just look a HazCon, skirt hinge wedges can be effective if done right.

Underpowered, yet looks effective for a DSL2.1 bot. You do need better wedges, hmmm. I say take the skirt hinges out... use Flipper segments+ small wedges. Take away the 2 1/2 sheets and add a static full one. That should protect it and make it more effective.

I'm aware that skirt hinge wedges can be good, I have some bots with skirt hinge wedges that can get under metal hinges. Unless I read his post wrong, he's saying that his bot has a hard time outwedging other bots, which probably means that the wedges suck.

Shorten the chassis, perhaps give it a slope of some sort, so you can attach a 30kg tite sheet to a 45-degree anchor, and use metal hinge wedges. Also, moar ants.
