Think you might have a bit too much battery power there, man. Surely just the two black's and the ant would be enough?

is it ? I'm quite rusty with the DSL 2.2 meta. i'll try less batteries.

Generally, I find, with the DSL 2.2 meta, you want to have enough batteries in there to last into the 2:40-2:50 range, with the bot continuously spinning in circles and firing all it's bursts for that duration. Why 2:40-2:50, and not the full 3 minutes? Well, it's highly unlikely that your opponent's gonna KO you in the last 10 seconds of the fight unless you've ****ed up for the previous 2:50, and it takes 10 seconds for the immobility counter to start, so why not save a couple of KG and spend that on weapons or armour? Sure, nothing wrong with your batts lasting the full 3 minutes, but if you're really strapped for weight, the batteries are usually the main thing I notice people overstocking on in DSL 2.2.

here you go. building some DSL-S stuff. (is that still a living metagame or is it completely dead ?) some fairly standard bot. 3mm titanium, four ants as you can likely guess. i actually skinned that one so it looks better.

i'm going to build another hybrid, likely a HW. Also if you feel like giving me some ideas for hybrid building, go forward. maybe i'll build *three* bots today.

also for hybrids try a DSL IRL Flipper/Crusher or a Spinner/Axe of some kind

Is this 2.1 or 2.2? It's definitely a 2.1-style build, with the ant battery spam, the multiextender holding the perm and the lack of typhoon teeth. As for hybrid suggestions, hammer/true popup?

honestly dsl-s should just go back to 2.1 or just migrate to ironforge. 2.2 really doesn't lend itself to dsl-s at all

as for the bot,

avoid using ant batteries whenever possible, a wp8 is fine for this. bats give unlimited amps till they die, but ants have the worst electotal out of all bats.

also you're better off just spamming typhoons/ripping teeth or just using a mech disk. light weapons have a heavy handicap against them with how 2.2 is balanced

i would be tempted to use a lighter plough on a lw and maybe get stronger extenders on the flails but tbf idk how fracture values are on 2.2 so i'm really speaking out my arse here

just looking it at a glance. it's a pretty bad fighter, i was forced to sacrifice a lot of fairly necessary things for it to fit it into MW. armor, battery power and extender toughness mostly. 1mm plastic. normal NPC's. i think it'd be a more balanced bot with a single FS or piglets. but i guess that sort of hybrid would be more fitting for the heavier weightclasses. maybe i should make a FS/SHammer SHW.

but here you go, it drives, spins and fires :P probably not for long, it has only 6 ants

That's about as flawed as I would expect from a MW as you already said. I was very much expecting a HW from my suggestion.

Probably worth rotating the hammer motors so they don't stick out?
