I've been inactive, BUT... Here's a new bot:
(Image removed from quote.)
A "WhataretheycalledagainbecauseIforgot" with 8 Razors and 1mm Titanium (I Think...). Type away!
Hooray, a TRFBD! (I can't believe I made the first of these, it was such a simple idea:P)
That is a very decent bot, but the chassis isn't very well protected.

Chassis looks a bit big for a TRFBD...
But it's a easy good type of bot to build :D
DSL Showcase
is this bot don't lost all razors in a fight before do a damage thought

I tried having the maximum amount of Razors that the discs could hold on it to deal more damage, Since I didn't have enough weight for even 1 Panel without taking away some razors, I decided it would be fine without Panel Armor.  ;)

Why not use side panels rather than Discs?
Also, IMO the motors are better closer to the chassis, rather than to the outside.
Better than GK since 2009.

I'd agree with S_M about the motor positioning, but I reckon it looks pretty good. Could really use some armour, though. Id you swapped the DSL bars for either poly or CF extenders, that'd free up a whole bunch of weight for you to play with.

Fixed up some stuff, Changed the Bars to Polycarbs and added some plates on it:

Stance really needs to be wider than that. I was thinking more of adding 40cm side skirts on the inside attachment points of the discs.

Try the weapon setup I used here, DSL discs are overkill.

Everything is mounted off the side panels.
Better than GK since 2009.

I was a little lazy to post the image of the bot, but I've changed the 20 Cm Polys to 40 Cm CFs to extend the width of the bot.

Well, it has been a while since I've done DSL building. Quite frankly I've been so consumed in stock that I just absolutely disregarded DSL all together. I decided to come back since I getting bored of building 36HS and Popups and wanted to do more simpler work, so I turned to DSL IRL.

Anyways, just to get the ball rolling, here's a bot I recently made called Vindicator:

Feel free to post criticism or ideas for the next bot I should make.

Looks rather generic. Also, the lighting is bad. Pic of insides?
Oh I'll be doing some banging.......

Skin looks pretty good for one only using the basic things that come with DSL.

Not sure about the skirt wedge though...

The skirt wedge actually does quite a lot in helping it gut-rip bots. I've tested it against LDAI and it seems fine.

Not bad.

I got a "not bad" for my first DSL IRL bot!   :gawe:

Here's a new bot, decided to make it a hammer and called it Triceratops.

I'm quite happy with the bot to be honest, the skin looks quite nice in my opinion, and it does quite well against AI for a Hammer.

I like the look of it but the 2 skirts coming out ruin the look for me, it would look better with one wider and shorter skirt coming out of the middle IMO.
