Not sure I agree with mounting a burst motor outside of the chassis regardless of protection seem as though they don't exist in real life, but looks cool otherwise.

No room inside the chassis, sadly. I guess I could make it taller.

Might be able to fit a spring-loaded Beta motor in there instead and appease the cheatbot police.

Well, this started off as an attempt to rebuild the CW flipper, but very quickly escalated into 'I-Have-No-Idea-What-I'm-Doing-Mode'.

After it's predecessor's shocking performance, I added a much bigger weapon. This is Bird Of Prey II.

Incredible powers of deduction.

But yes, it is indeed a crap fighter.

The Bird Of Prey series is definitely going to be just for looks.

Mazakari left the forum, you know.

Also it's already a DSL3 bot. Use DSL3 if you wish, it has it's pros and cons compared to DSL2.

You told me last night you weren't coming back at all.

Biohazard flipper looks pretty cool, and what keeps Lab Rat's weapon from hitting the ground?

Eh, changed my mind. We'll see. I've built some stuff I quite like recently so I figured I'd post them.

Biohazard flipper looks pretty cool, and what keeps Lab Rat's weapon from hitting the ground?

About 120kg worth of ballasts in the wedge.

But you can do it prettier with more weight ? And ballasts don't make anything pretty ?

In all honesty, it was just killing two bird with one stone. It needed to be heavier to be a cruiserweight, and it needed weighing down at the back so that I didn't need to make supports at the front.

Improve the armour then? And build it to weight limit with batteries?

....moving swiftly on from the ballast debacle....

I tried making some sort of half lifter/half clamp, but I don't think it looks very realistic. Anything I should do with the skin on the wedge to sort it out and make it look better?
