...Yeah, I definitely need to make an proper extender work tutorial.

Then we can work out exactly where we're going wrong, instead of just being told we're doing it wrong...

It is simple : make it lighter and stronger at the same time. Both if you can, only one if you can't, but never sacrifice one for the other unless you have a good reason to.

Use proper extender setup and the best components to get the best extender setup.

But yes, I will make that in the following days.

The idea with using steel in this case was more to look like a rear stabilizer, wheel guard and suchlike that would take more of a beating. I mean, Superheavies take one heck of a beating. Using the toughest one while I had weight to spare seemed the logical choice.

except you got better components, the important isn't the total HP it's the HP/kg ratio.

For example DSL bars are better than Steel Extenders in nearly all cases, except when you need a length that isn't a multiple of 40cm, or AP's at the ends. They do damage and have more hp.

I think the extender work is fine, just the stats in DSL2 is imbalance as heck.  To memorize which 90% of the components not to use is just silly.

Maybe you can switch to NAR3.

replace the sledges with flails + hexplates + 3x razors. 1 kg lighter than your current setup and will deweapon more easily. if it cuts your wheels than you could try using 2wd npc fasts.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Efficiency isn't everything, that's all I'm going to say.

I was under the impression that Naryar was saying my extender work was messy and unrealistic in the past, but having read his tutorial, I've realised he was talking about using space and weight efficiently.

I was looking for a sort of stabilising cage 'exoskeleton' look for the robot. The extenders are staying.

Hang on, what? Why? Whose call is it whether a robot should be efficient or not?

Don't quite get what you mean by this. Of course they don't need to. I've just decided that they will.

Alright, this I will listen to. How? As far as I can tell it's all clean straight lines connected with flippermakers. Yes, the side stabilizers aren't that great, but Ro7 prevents me from doing much with them.

Thinking ahead to GTM RW. Thinking of going with a flipper. I certainly build enough.

I like that. If you're going keeping it like that, instead of taking number's advice, you'll need some supporters on the back of the bursts.
