Cheers guys.

It uses TWM3R Drive motors, but I may swap them out for NPCs. If they fit.

The armour may need to be scaled down too. Might even give it a weapon.

Or just rebuild the entire thing.  :dumb)

ANYWAY, after Cataclysm's catastrophic casualty in BB6, I made a sequel. Which is yet another middleweight.

Here's the original lightweight Cataclysm Mk1 for those who missed it.

I liked the original Cataclysm, it just needed more range...

Erm, by making it up as I go along, normally.

I'm not sure I get the meaning, it's just a multi extender and a steel extender with a wedge on the end. I'll post the insides when I get home tonight.

Static wedges are awful, use skirt hinges or metal hinges.

By static I mean wedges on ME's or anchors, not non-flipping wedges of course. Yes if you want a correct wedge you're gonna need a burst motor (skirt hinges are one).

Fair point. Ah well, Cataclysm MKIII will just need to make wholesale improvements then. Better wedge, better wedge. Maybe not having a 6 wheel drive made of astroflights might help too.

...Yes. Yes it will help a lot.

In general use the biggest motors you can and that provide the right speed for your design. Efficiency-wise, more than 2WD is incredibly pointless on LW's, mostly not worth it on most MW's except a few designs, and is only used on HW's and more.

Of course, if you think a 4WD or 6WD looks best, then by all means go for it. I'm just giving efficient building advice.

I was trying something different. Turns out 6WD within the weight limit is no more efficient than a 2WD, which is a shame. But hey, you live and learn.

Maybe efficiency is the way to go....

Ohh, like the Terrorhurtz bot. A wider arm would be better, I think, so it can get more range.

Does it remind anybody of another design that we're all familiar with?

Anyone?

that spinner... axes are generally bad on spinners, the pole spikes serve no purpose and the motor is very fragile.

The third one looks like a miniature version of my Death Warrant.  Maybe that one could be called Eviction Notice or something along those lines.

Done deliberately for balance purposes.

An effective spinner (which is also invertible) would probably dominate the display tournament.

just make a super-fast rammer that can slam into that 400 HP motor and call it a day. E-Z
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.
