Been a while, but I figured it's time for me to show off my capabilities. I'll start off with my submissions for DOT's tournament. First three are my AW, BW, and CW.

Sun Shine is a unique AW. Why unique? Undercutter! I know it's not effective, but I felt like it's needed to be done and submitted.

Grinder is my BW with primary weapon a giant saw. I was inspired by a real bot which is built the same way but with less chassis.

This is a CW category. It is a slightly smaller version of my redditbot entrance, ROFLcopter. It was voted as a fan favorite even tho it was rejected. This version is little more stable and quicker than it's bigger original.

So there's nothing too bad with anything. You've got the general vibe of realism.
A few points:
1. Think about how your wheels intersect the chassis. Making the AW's wheels on the outside would look a lot better and the CW has them half-intersecting which looks very wrong.
2. Tribars like that would just break in real life. Cross bracing would make it look more realistic.
3. The BW saw should really have axle support on both sides. Although I guess you could argue against this for this sort of weight level.
4. If you export your skin you can resize if to maybe 1024x1024 and so have a much nicer looking chassis.

More DOT's tournament bots.

Shuriken is my LW with fuax-FBS. Also competing in the Redditbots LW.

Redditbots's fan favorite reject! Huge amount of power as it was to deal a one hit KO, but like its name... it can fly with a little tap. Hellacopter inspired me to build this.

In DOT's words... The Robot. The Myth. The Legend.
RG has been rebuilt to be more modernized. I know the drive motors aren't IRL, but DOT was nice enough to fix it for me. Thanks!
From this point on, I'll start building more with tips. Any advice and tip will be appreciated!

Why are the Razor Strips oriented in the positive direction compared to the original?
-
Because I was a newbie back then. lol. I think I had an idea of using the spike strip to "hook" a robot to slam against the wall or something when I originally built it.
-
Continuing my showcase! Sorry for a long silence. Been too busy with work and such, but now I have time for show off here and there. For the Swiss Knife tournament, I knew I wanted to weaponized RG, so I rebuild him with a modular set up. So far, I have the main rammer set up, flipper, and SPINNAAAH.
Also... any way I can upload the image better since the uploader is gone?
-
gotta be honest with you i liked the previous razor guy more. this one looks like you sacrificed too much to make it a swiss army bot

Gold Digger! First time I build part of the extender bot. I'm getting used to the set up and what works and doesn't work. I am aware of the spaces, but this was made in a rush to make it in time for the GTM tourney.

Startprogramm. My first full extenderbot. I'm still getting familiar with the set up, and I'm experimenting with the weapon set up. The launcher is at 20 degree.
If there's enought interest I can make a standard RG in each weight classes from AW to UHW (Lord help me...)

Nice looking bots here
Storm piston is meh imo as it wont flip too much, and it usually havoks (or atleast here)
-
I was planning on hosting a tournament that is for BW. I went ahead and made one anyway.

This cute little fella is quick as hell.
-
This is just beyond stale. Also, Beetleweight is 175.0 kg and under so you can add more stuff to it.
-
Getting back into the game and I'm still figuring out how to ai.

A bot in the making. Orange Is NOT the New Black. I'm just showing my project and get some ideas on how to make a support for the weapon. I will increase the chassis size to fit the wheels, but I'm more focused on the weapon support system.
-
Sorry for double posting, but since noone is responding might as well. :vista:
"If you think this bot is blue... you need to go see an ophthalmologist. Because this is...
RED!

I saw Vulture and I just have to do it. We are entering a new meta. Spinner and hammer combined for insanity. This will be my main focus as I'm refining it. I have a better idea on weapon set up and chassis set up, just need to find a tournament that allow few CB2 part.
-
I'm colorblind too, don't worry.
However, the entire hammer setup is extremely bulky and not good on the eyes.
The front wedges also suffer from eye burn. I'd say try to get the wedges to connect with the chassis and try to shrink the hammer as much as possible.

That's the back wedge, good sir. I know, it's in experimentation stage. I already planned out the next revision using some part of CB2. Hopefully it wouldn't be banned.

Updated Red! This version use slim motor and geared beta motor. The frame functions as a dustpan, and it prevent Red from flopping too much. It stays on the ground in the same fashion as Beta. Small jump, but didn't flip over.

Great. Also, how do you power the spinner?
-
It was the CheatBot slim motor.
