Anyone want Free Hugz?

This is my rebuild of overkiller clown. Uses the same wedges, same drive setup, same chassis as Overkiller Clown. Nearly identical bettery setup, but with the 2 back ants moved to where the old weapon motors were. Now uses two perm 80 M's. Armours gone down to Tite 3. Just realised that its slightly unrealistic as the weapon go slightly through the ME on the left side, but easily fixed as the panic skirts were not symmetrical anyways. Once thats done, to the AI-ing!

TP<~ Yay :P

Tried to make a HW version of Blue Jet, called Elve. Didnt work too well (probably because my driving sucks). Tite 3, 4WD NPCF. 5 ants? Possibly 4 :S 3 halfsheets at the top for armour as I couldnt stick them at the bottom as the chassis isnt high enough. Chassis could probably be shrunk too. Tried many setups with different weapons, from pole spikes to lightning spikes (would have been the most appropriate)and heavy DS teeth. Irons seem to be the best.

Thanks R0B0 :D

Anyways, ran out of ideas, so I tried to make a weird juggler (i seem to be fond of these) and a mini version of The Beast From Truro, which has ended up being similar to a certain Badnik's bot so i named it similarly (and reduced it to being cloney)....

Anymore stuff needed, just ask away.

*Disclaimer:The owner of this image has the right to give you better angles if you wish for them. However, this does not apply to Trigonometry as I have had enough of it over the last few months.*

I'm updating the bots in team Fez. This is the Beast From Truro 2, with even more wedge killing capabilities. Posting to ask if there is a more efficient extender setup I can use, and how to best protect the Dual Perm. I was thinking Plow/Firestorm Flipper (those things have the worst attachment points ever.) Then I could use the weight gained to armour the back a bit more.

Already done Blue Jet, but thats going to be in a tourney  . Gonna put my HW VS (updated, course) instead of Hydra and make an MW FS at some point. But next up is My Sawbot and Juggler.

Its a take on the Best Of Bodmin, but I used the city where I was born instead. And I wouldn't be a HW HS if I was a bot, I would probably be an AW poker or something XD

Only one person in the world know how much of a beast I am. And that would be me.

Anyways, the Beast From Truro 2 would probably be my midget little brother instead. XD

VS seem to like hitting the Dual perm for some reason, which is why I've gone and protected it :P

Speaking of VS, the update for Spin Cycle 3 is here.

Longest DSL bars possible for even better throwing ability. However, the skirts sink into the floor sometimes..

I would also like to commend the Jew Hunter on doing this to it, when I was controlling it. Might have turned out differently if the skirts didnt sink in at the start. Poor thing :(

Jew Hunter's small enough to get juggled by that. I have no idea how it can tear that to pieces. o_O

Also, the skirts sink into the floor because bots like to start just a few notches off the baseplate (yours is way under the baseplate line, which is why it occasionally sinks).

To solve this, instead of having your Perms extending outward from the front, do it from the top (use a medium or long ME for that), and rework your setup from there. :D

All fixed :D

And as an added bonus, less of the chassis is exposed to gut rippers too :D

Nothing wrong with tit 3, but this bot do need bottom armor.  free up 6kg by lowering armor to plastic 3, then put a caster on the bottom.  Alternatively you can free up weight by reducing your skirts to aluminum.

Thanks 123, had to change all skirts to aluminium and lower armour to plastic 5 for the caster, but its on. :D

Anyways, I did not upgrade a bot I said I would a week or so ago, so I went and done it. Not quite as cool looking as it was- but a heck of a lot more destructive. Inside shots available on request, though I may just put them in later.

None of the battleshots were AIed, as I'm in another lazy mood now XD
See what you guys think I can possibly do, then I can rebuild it, minimising empty space and such to get better armour :)

Looks nice! If I built this bot I would attach the beater bars using a side attachment point and attach to the outer aps of the discs. But that's just me, do what you want. :P

Beware of those unprotected mags though, they are really weak. Also maybe find a different way to attach the DSL bars on the front. If those flipper segs fall of, so will the bars which would be a waste of HP
