Mars Rover Series

Introducing
Mars Rover IV*
*Mars Rovers I-IIV were named 1-3, but that is beside the point that they were a large failure.

That's right!
Mars Rovers 1-3 were complete failures as compared to this success!
Through the use of spring technology and monkey wrench incorporated* (see img), this new rover features advanced terrain hugging technology. Well...it's not that advanced.
W/E, read the craptions and tell me what ya' think.[/b]

Nifty.  That bot looks fun to drive.  It's kinda funny because Firebeetle made a stock RA2 bot called Mars Rover IV about a year ago or something (he just skipped I-III and went straight to IV).  It was nothing like that bot though, it had 3 powered steering motors with fatboys on them, a huge drill, and a pneumatic snow plow.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

Bot exchange...pfft, I'll host the file myself if I do want to distribute it.
But it is such a simple design that it would be more fun to build it from scratch.

I've tried something like that...I pasted a NASA logo on it and didn't put any weapons on it though.
That thing went F-A-S-T FAST!
I had four different steering modes,
Front Front, Center Front, Rear Rear; Front Front, Center Front, Rear Front; Front Front, Center Rear, Rear Rear; Front Front, Center None, Rear Rear.
If you didn't understand that, no, I will not explain it further.  ;-)

I've got 2 or 3 similar designs, well, similar in that they're designed for the mars arena. Mine, however, dont acually articulate, but they rely on a powered steering unit and 2 slimbodies to get them down the 'road'. I have yet to get one stuck. What I want to know is how you managed to get articulation to work, me, i tried and havok didnt like it too much and put the axles away from the motors. Completely undriveable they were, they wouldnt even move
Wanting to build a bot, but cant plot that chassis? PM me and I\'ll build you a chassis. All I need from you is the desired weapon type, desired weight class, invertable(yes/no), and how many wheels you want. limit 4 wheels min on MW/HW
