What could I do about the weight?

Don't use replica parts. This will save you a LOT of weight.
Avoid the beam and you won't get hit!

@ LiNcK - check out Gravity Well's page in the wiki.

And they're right. Have some front protection first, get snapper/metal hinge wedges, and use a JX or a Beta for the flipper. :D

Which is why you should use a more powerful motor.

Empty space. You CAN make it smaller without the irons touching. Funny how you give advice about using a blue control board and not use it yourself isn't it? And thats a terrible paintjob. It would actually be pretty good; but you've randomly slapped two of the same decal and one of them isn't even centred. I know paintjobs aren't the most imortant thing but still. And I don't think anyones going to be impressed with you building a crawler, they're easy to build, garanteed to do damage and are all practically the same.

At least you could've used worse components. What armour?
Good evening.

What is it with the whole weight limit thing? If I build a FS that is 20 KG underweight, has brilliant turning, stability and fights perfectly I don't bother adding another unneeded or useless component that ruins the whole bot.

It's easy to build a 800 KG killer. It's harder to build a 600 KG bot that's better.

Infact, that's it. My next HW will be a 600 KG bot that beats 800 KG opponents.

Well, we can't bash it for being weak.

You might be a little short on battery power there. Hopefully those are NPC fasts, but that means you really need more power.

You have a bit of space to shorten the chassis without the spikes touching. That should save a bit of weight. Maybe you could give it better armor with that extra weight. (Since you say it's DSA, yeah, definitely get better armor.)

If you're cocky, do a Dynamo. Build a 175kg bot that beats 800kg opponents. It kinda defeats your goal of showing wasted weight can be better, but it'd show you're a decent driver with a manly bot.

Any decent gutripper can RAPE IT.

Edit: SD, LRA2 builds something that can beat a bot and instead of helping you use it as a moment to bash a PERFECTLY LEGAL TOURNAMENT BOT BIATCH crawler?

Damn, you are determined...
