Here was my LW entry to RA2 Olympics: Tokyo:

And an IRL flipper made with shell panels (quite old, forgot to showcase it when I made it):

poker looks decent. just being really nitpicky here, but small beater + a light ds tooth is almost entirely better than irons. is it designed to take out popups, longbow style?

the flipper is cool and all, but i cant really imagine that setup being practical on an actual robot IRL.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

What do you mean by longbow style?
Also I agree that that design probably wouldn't be practical, and I think I will remake it eventually.

What do you mean by longbow style?
"longbow" is one of clickbeetle's stock MW rammers.

the idea behind it was to do massive damage by having "all of its weapons focused into as small an area as possible, so if you hit that one area, you always take the maximum damage possible."

"Mouser Mecha Cat-bot 2"

Camemberta won the third prize at BB9.
Also apparently she was real lucky.

Get rid of the sheet, it looks flimsy and out of place.

To be honest, I think it looks really practical IRL.

Prototype robot for Blades of Glory. Never finished it, so I entered something else.

And insides:

Armour is Al3 I believe.
It was an attempt at a sort of pusher type bot, but with hammers as well. It sucks.

IRL... sort-of. More like an artbot-irl thing. I don't know.

'Nother view:

Was going to be IRL, but the back motors were too exposed IMO, so I made it look like it came from a scrapyard and named it Scrapheap Beast.

Also I built a standard bot that needs advice ^ ... please? Anyone?

And continuing the 'I have no idea what I'm doing today' theme, here's an IRL-ish flamer thing.

It's called Warm Embrace.
Might remake this for Kurt's tournament if I get some time.

Who gives a crap if they are "omg irl" or "omg not irl!!!1!1" ?

They look cool and are realistic. It's all that matters.

Fair enough. Any advice for me on my DSL standard bot (it badly needs it)?

Gotta say, I love Warm Embrace, the bear claws complete the look nicely.  :gawe:

I like where you were going with Scrapheap Beast, but it has to be said it reminds me of MY DSL3 heavyweight endeavours; you have an idea, do it, then start adding more to it because you think it looks cool and then when you finally step back half an hour later it's just like "Wtf is this mess?" That said, it's a better looking 'mess' than the atrocities I end up with, so meh. :P

Haha, yeah, that's pretty much it :P Mostly I don't showcase the messy ones, but I thought this was a cool enough mess to show.

Seconded. Looks like a much cooler version of my original sledge spinner idea with four wheels; not that the whole Hazard idea hasn't been done before. Definitely the nicest looking iteration I've seen though. Are those NPC's I see? What's the weapon motor? :P
