Excuse the Control Board being green. The blue one posed no advantages because I couldn't add any armour without going into Aluminium.

learn to build you noob everyone knows the blue control board is a million times better you could easily have used it and upgraded into aluminium 3.1 jesus christ why are such a bad builder

alu 10 is the best armor mang
what about dsa? call yourself a good builder? sheesh

it's original-ish, I kinda like it

edit: I still am unsure about marty being sarcastic or not

yeah most of the time it's better to use a blue control board and improve armor. Although that depends on your chassis weight and the armor ratio.

unsure if in this case it's better to up armor.
Editing your posts, you so sly, Frenchie.

Marty is being sarcastic. It's currently at 3mm Plastic, and weight is 247.something, so next armour up would put it over I'm pretty sure.

is that DSL 2.1 ? cuz that red battery could be replaced by 2 ants and you will have moar battery life to work with, and 2kg to work with

maaaybe with 2 ants and a blue CB you may have enough weight to go with the next armor... i think it's Steel 1. Unsure.

Battlepack gives 28 amps, doesn't it?
Plastic 3mm is above Steel 1mm.

it looks ok. your extender work is a bit herpy though.

you should try to attach your motors directly to the sheets, camber them wheels (le sparkey face 8D) and use these extra 6kg for hypno wheels, if you can.

It'll include changing the orientation of them sheets but it may work.

Yes but every single spin motor drains 10 amps.

It's not like i've been telling that to nubs for about 2 years, though...

Longevity.

No Hypno wheels because by the time they touch the floor the camber is too much.
Plastic 10mm.

I didn't forget Axle Loading was a thing. Honest.

you really need a caster on that chassis instead of plastic 10, which is such a waste. not sure why the skirts are on extenders either

Better. And yes plastic 10 is a waste on a tiny VS chassis. And you should try hypnos, it should be faster normally.

You could try having 1 multiextenders for both sheets and the perm and not put the sheets on round extenders as Ty said.

Yes but every single spin motor drains 10 amps.
Longevity.

...Eeeexcept that in DSL 2.1 a battlepack has the exact same electotal than an ant battery ?

Use only ant batteries, unless you've got some bursts in your bot. Use MORE ants than motors if you want your bot's power supply to last a bit in a battle.

Even with light burst use (eg 2 BSG's) you should just use ants... or MAYBE battlepacks if you are very limited on weight.

PC625's are however the best battery for Beta burst bots. Use them plus a few ant batts as extra when you're building a beta burst.

you may use large batteries like the orange ones or Battlepacks when you are building a flipper/popup or something with few motors but lots of amps needed (only burst motors use the full amp requirement listed)... but in general you're better spamming ants especially if you have a lot of motors.

You should go and see the amp and electotal of all the batteries... in general ant batts offer you the most electotal (=total battery life) per kg so that's why you must spam them. The rest of the batteries are just poor in electotal/kg ratio.

You also need to check the volume occupied by a battery/amp ratio... I still think ant batts are better for that.

as for the number of ant batteries's worth of electotals per spin motor... 1 ant per motor is the lower limit, 1,5 is a good medium (aka 3 ants for 2 motors obviously) and 2 ants per motor is for when you have some weight left and rely heavily on your spin motors (rammers, HS, etc)... mostly 2 ants per spin motor is only doable on HW or more.

2 ants worth of electotal (=battery life) per burst motor should be enough for most uses. If you use 1 ant worth of electotal for a burst motor it will power down during the match.

tl;dr anyways use only ant batteries unless you are building something with bursts other than BSG's.

i hope i've been clear.

Oops, missed a comma. Delta is the one with the bar, Krabmeat is the red one with the side arms.

mmm glass cannon

398.9 kg, 1mm Titanium, invertible, everything attached to the halfplate, can get slid under by a house.
Was designed for Beat The Clock, but I forgot I could only have one Mechavore disc, so I scrapheapchallenge'd a Microvore disc and some wacky back plates onto it instead.
