I understand a good skirt wedge would but I designed this with IRL in mind and didn't think a skirt wedge underneath really fit that idea.

Since everyone else is doing it why not figured Id see how big of a motor would fit with 2 spinners at LW its weapons suck but it launches other bots and doesn't flip everytime it hits a bot Ill chalk it up as a success even if it only goes for a minute

that's hilarious.

You might want to work on cropping your screenshots (pm me if you don't know how). Also try angling the extender holding the motor forward a bit, so the motor is ahead of the chassis.

Here is a silly MW I made it works pretty well even though frenzy hammers seem to upset the game spinning this fast. It hits extremely hard and it does spikeball however when human controlled you slow motor down briefly and it lands on spike and rolls over smoothly to get back into battle and usually by the time the opponent gets back from being shot across the arena its back up to full speed. I did have to battery stack to get 2 ants in it it last about 1:40 before its basically dead. I even managed to stuff steel armour 1 on it.

Using DSL2.2? If so, remove the iron spike and change the chassis to fit in a WP836E battery - that should resolve your power issues. With the spare weight, buff up those extenders, perhaps?

Yeah I know Nar but it was mainly a to see what silly things I could make since messing with the dual VS LW I had made.

Alright.

Also, the farther the weapon is from the motor's axle, the more KE the spinner has. if you have a small weapon on a long extender rather than a long component on a small extender, the KE is higher. That's why things like vlad spikes spinners, MOE/Fluffy bar spinners and sawbots are weaker than more standard spinner.

Here is my take on Coal miner. it is effective however I think I need to refine my drum setup to be a bit nicer looking and not so messy otherwise think its a good take.

you really need to crop your screenshots brochacho

I think the bot looks pretty cool apart from the drums at the front, those piglets look too exposed to me (even if they have a ton of HP). I can't really see either but it looks like your extender work is quite messy.

Yeah like i said need to find better way for drums but it really helps keep bot stuck on top. Also extender work overall i thought i did well everything fits close together. My wedges did well without drums to get bots up but they seemed to slide down into the gap and not take much damage where drums keep them ontop of everything my other problem was before i put the catch on top bots would shoot off top. They still occasionally do but when they do now it throws them. Lastly even against a bot like industrial coal miner that moves fast bot is suprisingly stable it doesnt really get that weird bounce away like you occasionally see with the shorter length bots

too slow for a gut ripper, drum honestly is not needed (find a way for your FS spinners to keep the bot on top). weapon setup is better than mine, however, mostly since it's V-shaped.

unsure about it having a secondary wedge and no primary wedge. (by secondary i mean something that lifts bots into the snappers, and primary i mean something that is flat to the ground)

looks underpowered as well. i mean, it has 1 motor more than mine has, yet a bit less batteries. it'll suddenly die after a few minutes : trust me.

plow is honestly not needed since the spinners should hold the enemy bot.

the design uses a lot of weight on motors and batteries and chassis and discs, and THEN it needs to be fast so it also uses a lot of weight on motors. so you need to cut corners a lot regarding weight.

extender work is OK (i dont feel it is especially messy) but could be a little better.

otherwise not bad.

I have not had power issues in testing. Also I have tried other ideas for keeping bots from trying to fall into the middle and I think I have a simple yet effective idea. I will post up later. Last but not least the plow actually does help as it tends to throw bots over the top without it I think my back 2 FS are angled too much and allow them to ramp up. Lastly the wedge setup is surprisingly effective it is outwedging all the bots Ive put it up against and the ones it don't they do that weird spring away thing and kind of launches other bot away and wins the second wedge war. Lastly the drive are npc fasts and with this setup do surprisingly well at out powering other bots. For example Industrial coal miner gets shoved around with ease. My next design I am going to try getting rid of the plow and making a few changes to better do damage. I am also not a huge fan of the tornado spikes for damage but they are sturdy and don't seem to break off like other spikes I tried.

tornado spikes are pretty meh (unless they got buffed in DSL2.2, idk if they did). I'd change them out for something more effective.

Also your drums are cutting 100% of the way through your skirt wedges making them unrealistic.
