Agreed!  Looks nice, K-3. How does it do in battle? Any shots/vids?
Input is appreciated. :)

Good bot, not too much open space, maybe a little too much battery power, looks like it hits hard.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Forget "for a first bot", that's a good bot any day of the week.  Only thing I can think of is maybe remove a battery or two (six should be plenty) and upgrade the armor.

Nice.

I would put that wedge lower (flush with the ground) and lower the ground clearance or your bot - you don't have to worry about invertibility there so you can use the right wheel size-

And titanium is the armor that has the better durabiity/weight ratio, but do as your wish.

The wedge is flush with the ground, its just a bad angle. It had 1mm titanium but I couldn't go 3mm and I had 30kg left to spare so I upped it to steel.

Hmm. I'd go possibly with the 50kg hammers and add side polyskirts or something.

Be afraid of mine too, because it also does that. I LEARNED SOMETHING. The weight of the armor that is DSA in stock is actually DOUBLE THE WEIGHT of Aluminum 1 Plastic 3 weighs less, even though it is rated to weigh more.

Very interesting design.  I like it.  I don't think I've yet seen a DSL hammer bot with that much weaponry.  There's just one biiiiiig problem, and one not-as-big problem.

The biiiiiiiig problem is the way those burst motors are attached.  Against any horizontal spinner, those angled shell plates in front are going to bear the brunt of any attack.  And when they break, that whole hammer system is going to fall off.  It's a weak link.  You have some weight left--I can't think of any better use than to bolster the front armor and protect those weak links.

The not-as-big problem is that the bot looks a little tipsy.  This could be easily fixed by adding some side supports, though.

In testing it really wasn't too tipsy, but I'll try and add some side supports and some frontal armor. The JXs were going to be inside the chassis, but I used the same chassis and front setup as Far Cry so it would have the same wedges. Needless to say, those huge motors didn't quite fit.

1mm ti, has to decide between 1mm ti and 2 ant batts or 1mm steel and only the 4 battlepacks... went with the ant batts. this thing is really stable, haven't tested it in combat yet though. And yes, those are skis for armor.

Get rid of a few battlepacks, replace some w/ants, and use the weight for more weapons.

unfortunately bots would not fit inside the armor, making it very hard to do damage. I had to redesign and it is no longer anywhere near as stable.
