Alright, for the bot himself:

The flamethrower is exposed, maybe put it inside?

Maybe wheel could be a bit smaller.

The basic bot design seems OK. You don't need that huge ass battery for a bot that size, I think a battlepack would do. You can use the extra space/weight for more air tanks to keep the flamethrowers going. Make sure you build to the weight limit, you have ~47kg spare for the MW class that you can use for more armour, weapons, drive, or whatever.

For the flamethrower bot, you should be able to mount the flamethrowers directly onto the baseplate, which will save weight and prevent them from getting knocked off. Three is excessive for a MW: you only need one, possibly two, otherwise you'll burn through your gas supply within seconds. You can use the leftover weight for some wheelguards.

Surge looks cool, if a little simplistic. I don't know how effective the weapon will be, but that much drive should give it some serious power. In terms of improvements, I can't tell whether it's invertible or not, so if it isn't, you've got weight for a srimech panel on the top. If it is invertible, just give it some more armour.

Finally, don't be so negative! We all have to start somewhere, and these bots are no worse than what 90% of first-time RA2 builders come up with. Just keep plugging away at it, and practising your building techniques, and you'll find yourself improving with each new build.

for the flamethrower bot i put the flamethrowers lower and removed one and then added wheel guards.

Those wheelguards on the flamethrower bot look a little flimsy, but I'm not sure what to suggest in terms of an alternate design. Maybe use an armour panel sticking out at an angle? Protip: use 10cm aluminium extenders instead of the anchors, they're smaller and they weigh less.

As for Surge, I think the srimech would look better if you used an armour panel rather than a tall stack of extenders. Incidentally, do you have the Complete Edition? It includes a bunch of coloured extenders and panels you can use to give your robots some extra visual flair.

Ok, few tips:

All axles must be supported in some way if they aren't directly attached to the motor (this means belted motors like the Perm 132, Perm 80 and Nightmare E-Tek.)

The stock baseplate anchors are a bit outdated. You can either use RA2CF and 10cm Aluminium Extenders, attaching them to the chassis directly to save weight, or use DSL 2.2 anchors (the steel-coloured 10cm cubes).

Multiextenders, while great back in the days of DSL 2.1 Standard, aren't used in IRL because they're ugly and usally major weakpoints.

For IRL, you need to attach supports for external motors at several points to the chassis so they look stable. A single multiextender won't quite do i'm afraid.

Also avoid using steel extenders where you can place armor plates that are generally tougher than extenders, and hold those plates with aluminium or titanium extenders.

Don't worry too much about the quality of your robots right now, you'll get better with time.
