Sorry bout the cut off image, the armor is aluminum 3. I'll add more bots here when i have more time

That's not a DSL component... if you want a showcase with custom components, make it a custom showcase in the custom showcase subforum.
That being said, that belt DOES make the bot quite cool however.

What component are you talking about?
-
the belt motor.

the belt motor.
Kaiser gave be a bot with that component and it worked fine for me and I only have the DSL 2.2 components nothing else.
Is it a cheatbot2 component?
-
pretty sure it's the nightmare etek

Yeah actually it is.
It just checked.

the belt motor.
Yep it's nightmare's etek :P should I move to custom?

yeah it's preferred if you use cheatbot2 components to go to the custom components section.
since when?

In my opinion, there should be no hidden parts :P except for the ones that are parts of replicas and are relatively useless, but for example this motor was technically included in the DSL 2.2 mod, but was hidden for whatever reason, and it's become my favorite motor out of almost all of them. I guess that answers my question of whether or not I can use hidden components in a tournament, No. :(

They are hidden as they aren't balanced with the normal parts that are in the botlab. Some tournaments (Mostly IRL ones) allow for the use of them though.

I've decided to update my showcase! Be as critical (or complimentary) as you see fit. Sorry about the lazy-ish editing on the images, and SOON I will master the art of skinning the chassis/components.
Disprezzata is one of my most recent attempts at solving the issue of losing chassis durability at the cost of having a large spinning weapon (e.g. Nightmare). Sort of succeeds, but it has terrible control because it's blade easily hits the floor if it rocks backwards.

And here's my most recent Nightmare rip-off.

They both look pretty cool. Doesn't like how the drive motors can be seen with the bar configuration on the second bot though
