Right this is my first showcase so lets see how things go...
First up I present...Evil Merry-go-round.
(http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/1235/screenshot184du1.png) (http://imageshack.us)
Weapon motor: Duel perm
Drive:Two NPC's (I think that is what they are called)
Power:Two orange batteries
It is quite lethal in the way that it beat Grog the vengefull be making it mauler dance (not by KO kind of dissapointing) But it Is quite hard to destablize provided the driver is controlling it well.
Next Up is Vortex...
My insperation for this bot came from both click beetles and Mr.Weedy's spinners...

Weapon motor:TWM3R2
Drive:Two astroflights
Batteries:Two WP836E
This bot is one of my better light weights with the disk being able to shred any bot within time. Its flaws are that is is fairly underpowered and can't last long so it has to go for the quick finish.
All comments are welcome...

Thirdly...I would like to present T-One
(http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/1287/screenshot192nj8.png) (http://imageshack.us)
Weapon Motor:Two TWM3R
Drive: Two TWM3R Drive
Power: One orange+3 Battle packs
A mean Drum bot...alough fairly slow it can get the job done. The idea is to catch the bot up against the drum with the armour on top and then drive into a corner and grind away at their underside untill they go down. On multiple occasions this technique has proved very effective.
Coming in at fourth is Mr.Red
My first bot with DSL I might add :D

Weapon Motor:Two Mag Snappers
Drive:Two MagMotors
Power:One orange+2 Battle Packs
My first DSL bot...Well armoured front ready for any assult via spinners. That combined with decent flipping power makes this bot quite good if I do say so myself.

Nice bots. I like them. Especially the T-one but I would like to know what part is from my spinner bot in the Vortex?
-
hey thanks I will be posting a few more pictures in the not too distant future. As for your question I took a few ideas from your Ultimate spike beetle bot and click beetles microfuge. Alough it doesnt look much like your bot I took the flail idea and general design from both of your bots. (hope you don't mind).
-
No not at all. :) I'm just flattered.
-
Right. Next bot...this on wrecked-angle. I'm rubbish at naming. Similar to Lock Nut but a heavy weight version and with it comes unimagionable destructive power.

Drive:Two MagMotors
Power: Four Battlepacks
Weapon motor: Six mag gearbox spinning three 60kg sledge hammers...Nasty!
Easilly destoyed the junk bots in a minimum of five hits ten at most. Awsome to watch as it tears its enemies apart!
-
Looks like you have enough wieght to put on a disk so you can have 4 60kg hammers, but maybe then it would be too slow.
-
yeah I have tried that but by the time it had spun up I was pinned up against the corner.
-
You do have a lot of weight left though. Maybe you should enlarge the chassis and give it better drive.
-
Yeah I suppose I could try that I'll recreate it...see what happens.
-
Right then this is the bot that wrecked-angle turned into...Please welcome Tri-Mangle

Drive:Two NPC's (Fast)
Weapon Motor: Dual Perm
Power:Two PC545's+two ant batteries
The newest bot in my collection. Heavier and stronger than its predessor.
With a dual perm powering the weapon this new bot is a tough one! With its hits ranging from 1500-4500 this is a force to be reckoned with...

Nice bots! You know how to make effective weapons. The only critique I have is that you don't use all the weight available to you on the heavyweights. For example, you could upgrade T-One's drive to E-teks with a little chassis adjustment and it would be a whole lot better.
You are aware, though, that T-One was a flipper that did quite well in the BBEANS tournament?

Thanks! yeah I know I don't really make the most of extra weight. And yes I did, I read about BBEANS alot on both gametechmods and the official forums of RA2 but I had completely forgotten about it at the time I had made the bot. I could change it if you wanted?
