I'd say a lower chassis, a slightly smaller chassis, and using 2 Piglets for the saw blade robot. Should reduce a lot of weight.

However, it might increase the width of the front part.

I tried having a lower chassis, but it wasn't allowed. And as for the piglets, it would only weigh 5 kg less plus I'd have to make the chassis larger. Thus nullifying it.

if you use piglets you can BFE the chassis lower and save KGs by having a shorter chassis

Once again lazy skinning is my strong suit.
I literally took DSC's IRL_Alu pic, plastered it on the bot, then added the name on the back.

Since you're trying to enter it in DoT's tourney, have you considered using the CB2 Flatmotor rather than a perm on the turret? The top section just looks too bulky to me and that would allow you more room to shape it.

Edit: But you are going for a Tazbot meets GR look right?

bottom base just looks way too small for the top part and very unappealing just being a square and the color scheme you have going on looks pretty bad imo

More dumb ideas on the way.

From top to bottom.

Grab and Grind, an idea based loosely off of Industrial coal miner. It lifts opponents onto the grinder and pushes them around. Its AI binding is tough to beat... Entered into Masters of Destruction.

Catipult, what happens when I try to make a normal bot. Entered in Annihilation thing.

Network, when you combine Frenzy with Kan-Opener. Entered in Annihilation thing.

How much does that middle one weigh? Love the look of it. Almost looks like if the S2 version of Bronco got cut in half.
