Entering an IRL bot to a DSL-S tournament

At least give it a disc with some OP weapons so it puts up a fight instead of wasting everyone's time being slowly picked apart.

Should've mentioned, titanium 5.

I did say it was fragile though...

Oh, and that's a antweight drone btw.  It lost its sawblade.
I have several opinions.

Go to your UI folder then the botlab folder and open the batsuit.tga file. Make it a solid color then.

Would try to get the wedges lower so they actually work as wedges and maybe replace the multiextender with a regular round one? Drum like Angled VS isn't something you see every day definitely looks nice.

lol what are you even talking about ? those are not wedges. the Nightmare style design isn't even supposed to have wedges.

they're wheel armor.

Srimech = boring and heavy

Get rid of it for a stronger weapon motor and 2 large teeth instead of 3 small ones per panel and you'll have a fun bot.

Yes, but they could easily be turned into wedges, being even lower to the ground and helping to protect the wheels against spinners and undercutters.

No. I highly doubt they would be capable of getting under anything. Nightmare-esque bots are designed to punt a bot if it is tall enough to have a part hit the disc. There is no need – or efficient way – to wedge bots with a Nightmare clone.

Here were my entries for the swiss army training.
I decided to exploit the multi-bot rule and made these 3.

I also plan to make a better VS with more punting power.

Maybe if someone succeeds to take the right of the tournament, you'll see these things soon.

Fun fact: I built the bots in the opposite order that you see them (Unless you're scrolling upwards)

I don't find removing batteries and moving motors and anchors within one chass very IRL for "interchangeable" weaponry man.

It's interchangeable multibots, not interchangeable weaponry.

oh, well then i find having interchangeable multibots dumb then as it defeats the whole point of having a whole tourney based around one bot having interchangeable weaponry  :dumb)

Yeah that would suggest you could've entered 3 completely different MWs and just made combinations which is... Strange. Not what I'd say the point if the tournament was.

Removing batteries is technically IRL, heck, Brutus did it against Tombstone to put on more armor.
Also thought the entire point of IRL bots was too look like IRL ones, doesn't matter how certain parts are built. Middle part could also be a big interchangeable part like Tornado had.

Titanium 10.

A possible entry for "Not Just Another DSL 2.2 IRL Tournament"

However, I'm not sure if IRL or not, or if it would be allowed.

Why not throw in my RoboGauntlet entry in here too.

It's also untested on other cruiserweights.

I wanted to have the strongest piston possible for the flipper in that chassis.  Using one sideways seemed to be the best possible way.
Drums looked the smoothest and cutting teeth for weapons seemed to be the best for damage in the space that I wanted.

But, yes, it is weird looking.  I think Demon commented something like that too.
I have several opinions.
